Something has been bugging me lately: every time I send a message to someone on here, they seem to delete it. I can understand if I wasn't verified cause you don't know who it could be but I am. Is it my appearance? Am I not an attractive guy? Can somebody tell me truth please? Even if it is harsh, I am a big boy and I can handle it

To some you would be very good looking to others you may not to be their taste, unfortunately. So this may be a factor for some.

To some your message will be enticing and get them wanting to know more about you or meet you in person. To others, you may not gain their interest or in fact put them off, unfortunately.

To some your profile may excite them and become apparent you are exactly what they are looking for, to others it may become apparent you are in fact not what they are looking for, unfortunately.

As you can see there are a few u derlying factors that may result in your messages being deleted. Don't get get disheartened as you can also see why some messages will receive a reply Sarah x (spotted an error and reposted)

You have put that you cannot accommodate, which will be a deal breaker for some, and your age might be a problem for others. Make sure you read their profile carefully and tailor your message to their wants. And remember that patience and grace is the key.

Do you read their profiles carefully rather than just sending out a standard copy and pasted message?

90% of my inbox is deleted everyday because they (men, women, couples) don't bother to read my profile.

It may seem picky but my logic is that if you don't bother to read it then you obviously don't care who you meet and desperation is not attractive.

Lots of people have code words, theyre there for a reason

I always read their profiles so I know what type of person I am talking to. Sometimes I do put one worded messages but that is because they have put on their profiles "message me" or "ask" and it is hard to start a conversation with it only being like that.

Everyone's different, you actually have word in your profile already scoring points lol and ur a decent looking guy, some people are just weird, don't take it personally, I've had more than my fair share of idiots

I always go straight it pics. Some of yours are smashing, but some are just darned crazy. It would put me off I'm afraid.

I think your profile is fine and you're actually rather attractive.... definitely my cup of tea. But your picture on 17th Aug puts me off (and the distance too I guess ) as its my birth date nothing less than perfect can be posted on 17th Aug

A woman I know on here who gets 30 messages a day on average - I've seen them. Some get more apparently.

Imagine you're her and it's a day when you want to meet one person and you find someone interesting enough to start a conversation with.

Would you get round to sending 29 messages to the others saying "not interested".

I wouldn't.

I agree with earlier posts that your ink is awesome and that your age will put some people off.

I don't think any of your photos are scary. I think they suggest you don't take life, or yourself, too seriously, which is a good thing.

This. I delete do many without even reading because I know straight away they haven't even bothered to read my profile.

That said, maybe you're not everyone's cup of tea. Just shrug it off and move on.

We chop and change with our single men filter if we were to reply to you or anyone else who messages and we're not interested, you'd still be able to message us and get through the filters. We used to respond to all messages and winks to say no thanks but always seemed to get messaged time and again by the same guys

Actually, last time she showed me it was 32 and it was about 6.30 at night!

In fairness, they weren't all from blokes she hadn't heard from - a few were from good friends on the site. By the time she worked her way through all those messages from people she liked and felt it would be rude not to reply too, she had no time for 18 polite refusals to people she'd never met.

She's not being rude- it's just lack of time.

Would you answer every message or wink you get?Females and couples will get loads of messages/winks,there's nothing that says you need to say no thanks.

Just carry on sending decent,well thought out messages,you'll click with someone and you'll be away...

cant drive

cant accomodate

your username suggests when out you could well be hard work.

as has been said, to some you would be great, to others not so.

do you only message those that you are certain you fit their criteria?

if not, then there is every chance you arent what they are looking for
