Interesting post.

I suspect it's people who want to play, and asking their known friends if they fancy coming over for a frolic.

Other than, wait till you think you have had all offers and select the best match...

Your meet, your rules!

As you are the lady, the above applies twice over...

Fab pics by the way!

Broadstairs

If they wasn't my type I would tell them. Then wait to see if my type comes along. If they do then great if not no great loss. Try again another time.

Just because you have a meet request up it does'nt mean you don't use all the normal criteria you usually would before you meet someone

Its not waiting until something better comes along, its waiting to see if something right comes along, nothing wrong with being honest if you don't fancy the people that have responded

I'm sure you don't want to go for the first respons, or anyone on the list. But yes, put up your request and don't check your account for a while, then decide.

Maybe add a paragraph to your profile about the meet. So you do get somone rather than anyone

Great advice, and it works on so many levels.

Depending on how many replies we get to such a status update , we may say no thanks or ignore those we are not interested in .

Either way it's perfectly good and acceptable

If i get a request to my meet offers and the person has not fit what i look for then yes i ignore until or unless someone has taken time to check my requirements.

In time i will respond politely to any request even if just to say you are not for me as no need to be rude even though profile not read properly.
