The true is you could easy fuck one as they love to get up to know good ( don't ask me how I know just trust me I know ) but they also like to cause trouble .

They love the idea of guys fighting over them so expect trouble if you do go there big trouble as at some point she will tell.

And before anyone say racial stereo types I have first hand experience with travelers and there families so I can confidently say this is quite true in a lot of cases.

If any are on fab they would have to be very discreet as they (and their family) would be shunned and disgraced it's completely against their values and completely the opposite of how they have been raised. Reputation is everything in the travelling community one makes a mistake and the while family suffers n trouble follows and trust me if you value your life don't go there! I'm not a traveller myself but do have friends in the community so know quite a lot about them

Very true.. my mum's family are travellers... Because of something my mum did.. I am totally outcast from over half the family... Funny it's the ones in this country that won't even acknowledge myself or my younger sister...

The Irish lot are fine with me still.. although do keep from time to time try to convince me to embrace my heritage. However mine are not catholic based.

A little off the actual subject but related. Our council set up many traveller sites around the county to try and stop gypsies using lay by,s i worked at many of these sites and could never understand the gypsy mentality. They would each have a toilet block associated with each caravan birth yet they would choose to shit behind it or around the camp rather than use the facilities..... Why?????

Most Travelling girls are good girls they have been brought up to have values and morals and strong family values within the community which is a lot to be said. The travelling community do get a bad rap which is not called for. Most the girls are very pretty but most of them will not have sex before they are married this is why there are so many teenage brides. I just wish more travelling girls would get the chance in school to get an education rather than being written of as travelling girls x

try living next to them ...as a former publican and an irishman i always resolved to discriminate against noone so served travellers .Big mistake so now self preservation prevails over stumbling ethics .The gypsy wedding rubbish isnt true representation

Only ever known Romany Gypsies(or as near as damn as you can get these days) and found them ok.Just show respect and you will get it back.Don't get involved in their internal fueds though.Haven't had much to do with Irish Travellers,loads where I live though,

Good and bad in every group of people.

It's easy to say all football fans are hooligans because of the actions of some. Wouldn't be true though.

No doubt people can have problems with gypsies and some segments of the community have practices that are unsavoury, but many are lovely too.

The guy I turn to when I'm looking for someone to do work for my elderly mother (I live away) is a traveller. Best, most reliable, respectful builder/handyman 'vs ever met. I know I could call him anytime anyday and he'd be there as quick as he could.

A good friend is the events manager at a well known castle. They do weddings many weekends of the year. He said the gypsy one was he best one he did all year. He was dead worried before hand, but they were no bother, and ultra, ultra keen to make a good impression and leave the place I a good state..........in marked contrast to most of the "normal" weddings, where fighting and drink induced damage is commonplace (even among well off clientele).

It's the education aspect that worries me. Everything I read about the travelling communities suggests the kids grow up without reading and writing skills, which automatically will doom them in the outside world and ultimately give them no choice to leave the travellers if they want to.

some years ago on tv in the east midlands there was a piece about a traveller who bough some land nr the A5 in leicestershire and set it up as a camp solely for his own people the travellers,but after a few years he stopped them using the site as he himself a fellow traveller had got so fed up of the disgusting habits of his fellow travellers and the complete lack of respect for his property.

I was with gypsy girl for nearly 6 years, had a son with her, got on well with the family, and know quite a few of the travellers around my area, my ex was from kent and related to a famous prize fighter in kent, theres the good and bad gypsies and traveller and theres the same people that are'nt gypies or travellers that are good and bad, after all we are all humans from different walks of life !
