I havent played with anyone yet but a few people i have spoke to would like to use toys with me.

Am i right in asking them to use a condom with the dildo/strap on/toy??? I obviously dont know who else has used it

Personally I would only use my own toys as I know I'm the only one to have used them.

I don't think you're wrong to ask them to use a condom - you should only do what feels right for you.

I would never share my toys or use other peoples, to me a vibrator is just not something id share, at lease men wash how do you know if a toys been washed

If they are washed properly before use not sure we see the problem here.

When involved in a 3 some or more some we have yet to see anyone wanting to nip off to wash their hands/face/tongue etc when swapping between partners, what a thoroughly bizarre notion.

So if the players and the toys are all nice and clean at the start of the evening then quite what the problem is escapes us..............

But we expect we are about to find out why

I only use toys uncovered when wanking, if any of my toys go near another persons orifices then they're covered, I always wash them and give them a spritz of toy cleaner afterwards as well

Seldom baffled in this life however this one has me totally and utterly bemused, I know logic rarely plays a large part in the swinging world but...........

In all the years we have played I have happily licked and fingered other women whilst my lovely wife is being licked and fingered by other men, she herself also licks and fingers other women as do many of the women we play with and at no stage in the proceedings does anyone get up and go off to decontam between partners.

We have played like this at private meets, parties and clubs and never ever has anyone got up to go wash before changing partners.

But now apparently the introduction of a toy means that the 'new' fanny that my wife and I have both been really happy playing with has suddenly become a toxic dumping ground that requires any users to wear full bio hazard gear.

It's ok to take your fingers or tongue out of one fanny and move straight to the next but not a toy..............

We wonder if some folk have really thought this on through

You're assuming that is everyones approach.

Sometimes I watch my partner play with other women, and unless that is someone I am also playing with (one woman in the last few years - his long term girlfriend) then I make him wash his face and hands before playing with me, because I don't really want another girls fluids all over me. Just not into it because I'm not really into women.

I only use toys on people I'm intimate with and therefore know their sexual history (and actually, I tend to have silicone toys so they can be sterilised) and I also do my best to sterilise other kinds of non-insertable toys before using them on different people.

If someone wants to go from person to person unprotected, then that's cool, but it's not really my thing personally.

You are totally correct, we do assume that most play like us because in our years of playing they do.

You don't so clearly your approach to the subject is perfectly logical and we would never question you or anyone for that approach.

We are not questioning anyone's approach for that matter but simply wondering at how the decision was arrived at which on the face of it does not seem to be logic based

I always use a new condom on a toy for a new person.

Penetration i always play safe, oral i dont on either men or women, thats a risk i choose to take.
