Like most sound-minded people I wouldn't ever stand anyone up if I'd agreed to meet without good reason.

Neither, as both imply some degree of pre-meet chat and communications.

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear. I wouldn't meet you because you're not my type but I wouldn't deliberately stand you up and I don't see why others that are attractive to you would.

I think its just wrong to "suddenly evaporate" after chatting and arranging a meet.

Perhaps a "Name and Shame" post should be started.

Zoe was proving its very easy to name and shame, naming and shaming dont prove no one stood you up.

If someone has stood you up, follow site rules and report the profile to admin.

But messages fizzling out isnt timewasting

1.Messages dieing out and standing up are not the same.

2.Perhaps when people list meets (similar to Facebook confirmations) you confirm your intention to attend.

Then the host can reconfirm and display results on profile. ie this individual has been to 100% of arranged meets etc.

I don't have all the answers but frustrated with wasting my time without recourse.

For goodness sake what next a traffic light system? Just a thought but maybe you might want to consider the people you are making these meets with.

May I just ask: the OP is straight, according to his profile, but amongst his meets counts two men. Isn't that giving confusing signals? Maybe that could be the issue with the stood-up?

Need to know basis

OP you are not what I am looking but I would never stand you or anyone else up if we had agreed to meet! Decency, empathy and respect are values lost on some fum posters x

So glad you said something because I saw where he was referred to as a hairy bear... I thought I was the only one who caught that!!

We would never arrange to meet anyone who is deceptive in their profile. You claim to be straight but have two veri's from men who seemed very satisfied with you "hairy bear".

It's not just single guys that get messed around....I was stood up by a couple last week...waited in a pub and they didn't appear.

Then their profile disappears........then re appears with their names round the other way ! !

I'm rather amused by the questioning of my sexuality. The verifies came from bi men part of couples or mmmf meets.

The OP was naively simple..... didn't get across what I was asking.

I was particularly angry having been stood up. This had been after weeks of messaging back and forth so not a suddenly arranged meet.

My annoyance has subsided now. Thank you to those who have privately messaged with kind words of empathy and constructive criticism.

Those who spit poison and mistrust I think it reflects on themselves quite well.

I've seen that. profile disappears then reappears with same photos and simple change to the name.
