We are chatting to a fake couple now as we speak.. He is avoiding sending a mobile number so we cant chat even though requested twice. In fact he is just ignoring the request and very short conversation.

I reported a fake profile earlier today and admin have already removed it. It was a particularly unimaginative individual who has used the same pic and similar usernames a number of times, each profile lasting a couple of days at best. I can't begin to imagine what kind of satisfaction these people get from it.

Unfortunately, not all fakes are as easy to spot but if you use some common sense and be a bit sceptical of things that look too good to be true then you'll be unlikely to get caught out by one.

Always wondered what constitutes a fake.

We have met some lovely couples from here and other sites and have good verifications.

But as I Frank do all the chatting and arranging we have been called fake.

Also have been told its easy to fake the verifications.

Well that maybe be true, but on all the sites we are members on???

Simone doesn't chat on these sites, doesn't text and feels uncomfortable chatting to strangers on the phone.

But she enjoys meeting face to face and we have always turned up when a meet has been arranged.

We have also travelled miles to a meet.

So again what is a fake, at the end of the day you have to go with your instincts as we are all different, and all have our different views.

I personally don't go near the profiles with too much smut on them and no pics! The, 'my cunt is soaking and needs tongue fucked' ones. Not very scientific i know, but i find most genuine gals are a bit more refined than guys when it comes to profiles.

Tragically l always look at plug sockets, a tough job when there's so much else to look at but it always lets you know where the picture is taken which may or may not chime with the profile description. Obviously it's not proof of fakery but it is intriguing. Dado rails and cereal packaging also come in useful for the same purpose!

Still after a while any attention whether fake or not warms the cockles!

We won't hand our mobile no out to anybody unfilled we have met them .or spoken via cam on site or msn .there are so many fakes on here .we have taken to meeting at club only now .unless we meet couples or guys we have previously met .and the odd recomendation.

There are probably as many interpretations of 'fake' as their are 'timewaster'....

If you think a profile is fake then you should report it to Admin and let them have a look. If theres any evidence then, as someone has already said, Admin will deal with it.

How would you know it's a picture of them .as for mobile no s it so easy to get pay as you go sim and five pound credit .it's mainly single guys spoiling the fun for other single guys and couples .shame as we get to meet some nice guys

For me it depends the definition of fake, I have had it said that as I won't show either my verifications or the summary I must be a fake.

Having said that if people pass me by because of it then that is their choice, makes no odds to me

Instinct......have your own set of rules that you use to help you feel comfortable around a profile,don't rush,don't be pushed and never assume that everyone you talk to will result in a meet

Chatting whilst horny can also lead to very poor decision making

Also just because people don't agree to what you you want to do when you want to do it does'nt make them fake either

Again.....instinct! can't stress it highly enough,if something does'nt feel right then move on,again that does'nt always mean fake it means they're not right for you

Had a couple of comments as to why I bother chatting to a profile that we consider fake? And that they are surely wasting our time..Easy answer is that firstly we will give them every opportunity to prove otherwise and if they are fake will expose the profile as such so no one else has to waste their time. And fortunatly just now I have some time to waste if I so desire

There's a profile on here that say's female but the pics are of different people. The face pics do not match the body pics. Gut instinct tell me it's a man I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I use that, also when they say they have no tattoos/piercings and the pics show them with tattoos and piercings or vice versa. Also google reverse image lookup!!

But expose the profile how? Them avoiding calling you is hardly grounds for admin to remove their profile, so you can report it but I suspect it would remain on. Ergo you're wasting your own time. Just block them.

I do that too lol I've seen a few using pics from gay websites over the years, wrongly assuming women don't watch gay porn

Install google image search on your browser screen then right click on any photo... it will bring up where else the photo appears on the world wide web (but not password sites like facebook). I was gobsmacked at how many profiles on here use photos straight off porn sites.... even ones with meet verification's....

I never give out a phone number, and I only give out a face picture if I feel we are compatible and if we have a day to meet setup. After the first meet and greet I will give my number out but never before.

I particularly like the single female profiles that are "willing to meet anyone", have been on the site more than 3 months but have no pictures, no verifications (not even admin verification) yet a long friends list.

Maybe its just me - am a cynic

But what if that particular picture from a genuine profile has been pinched and then used to set up a fake profile !

We had a guy message us asking for a meet a while ago sent along a couple of body pics etc (which we recognised as someone we had already met) so then we knew he was fake so asked him for a face pic to go with the body ! He had even took the face pic off another profile trying to pass himself off as totally genuine

We told the person whos pics he had pinched and reported to admin .

Easy to tell, one that I was chatting today who wouldn't give any picture or contact details. I find some people who are verified don't even intend to meet usually they have one meet from 2010 on their profile so check them out too. Then the excuses come my cat has been stolen Lmao so can't meet anytime soon.
