There have abeen a lot of interesting threads recently about couples in swinging relationships. I'm wondering how many people need to feel like they have a sound connection with other swingers in order to have a really good time? Is it necessary for you, and why/ why not?

Yes it's necessary for the mind blowing, jelly legs meets, not so much for the scratch an itch meets. As for reasons it depends which kind of meet you prefer

I'm finding that it's necessary so that people understand what we're after, it's how we out those that are after a quick screw.

No I don't need any connection, it is not what I am there for. To get on yes but I don't need to feel connected in any way.

if no connection we are not as relaxed so not so good a time, if there is a connection it is amazingly better

An understanding of what everyone wants/expects is important. The mind is the biggest erogenous zone, so a connection makes the sex so much better!

I'm not like a roll-on, roll-off ferry, where the vehicle doesn't matter, as long as it fits. I do prefer a connection, but sometimes at a club a little flutter may be good.

This is true for us, but slowly starting to find that the connection is important. Probably now the most important aspect.

For me personally when i meet single men yes, but id say its almost as important when were meeting couples too.

Previously I've tried it both ways and the meets where ive taken the time to talk and find out what makes us both tick have been more amazing than the ones where i havent. Mrs x

The more chemistry presant the better .

I like to enjoy the conversation leading up to a meet i like mental simulation .

The more chemistry there is the more the sex feels more natural less false .

What do I mean by false sex well its feels like your going through the motions in a pleasurable way but not really enjoying it as your minds else where thinking about things like I hope she likes this will it be OK to stay in this position .

Should I change positions should I take more control here or less control.

All these things are iron out other time and regular meets the problem is regular meets do no happen with out genuine chemistry not lust chemistry people often get the two mixed up in my experience.

If you have the chemistry false lust inspired sex gives way to real sex where nothing enters you mind except the pleasure of the moment and the sex just flows with out you thinking about it during it .

Again just one mans opinion .each to there own its the differences that make life interesting

Totally agree with you here. Not only are you not truly in the moment, but you're not really relaxed either. Being relaxed is the only way I can enjoy myself without feeling like the whole situation is forced.

We think a connection is important. We don't need to have all the same interests and be the best of friends but need to get on and be able to have a laugh. If we're relaxed we play. If we have no interests and not much to talk about we won't play

Agreed, it's not important that everyone has the same interests, but everyone needs to be able to respect each other's limits, if that means one couple has to hold back on one of their interests then that is what has to happen.

That's exactly right. It's not fair to judge someone on their typed personality and unless someone gives us a very clear 'wrong' impression, we agree to meet socially- no guarantee of playing.

For me It's important tu be physically and mentally attractive to one another, the sex is fab. Lol

Connection definitely needed here. I don't normally do social meets as I have very limited time. I need to know that I am going to feel safe with the person I'm meeting, that we will get on and that we will be sexually attracted to each other, so any connection needs to be built via messaging (which I believe you can do) or maybe a phone chat. I've only really got it wrong once in nearly 2 years, so I must be doing something that works for me!
