Disease free?

I keep reading on profiles ' I'm disease free'. It's oh so clinical, what happened to the romance and sensuality of the good old days?

I'm also thinking of putting on my profile ' Hi i'm Dollie , you name the disease, I've got it' and see how many men still mail me!

I doesn't matter what you say in your profile you will still get inundated... However much time and effort you make in writing a profile it is ignored at least 90% of the time.

That does sound like a fun experiment though!

I find myself thinking of food labels , 'gluten free' and 'lactose free' . Maybe these disease free people should have to undertake a special inspection to get their own stamp, to prove to us dirty buggers that they really are clean?

They'd show you a text supposedly from the clinic (from their friend's phone) giving them the all clear a few days beforehand.

Most are not here for romance! However it doesn't matter what people put on their profile it doesn't mean its true so always be cautious.

Reading between the lines, would that not mean "I only do bareback"?

I think it not only sounds really quite nasty it would make me question why they feel the need to say it? like im going to say oh thats ok then chuck those condoms in the bin and hop aboard because it says on your profile you have no diseases

Its rather like the syndey uni disclaimer thingy.....its a load of bollocks

And I can't help think that it's just an urban myth.

Of course it is!

And the disclaimer holds not weight anyway!

Most STI's take at least 2 weeks to manifest themselves so a person would have to abstain for a fortnight, have a test then not have sex again to be able to say they are disease free. So what are the chances of ever encountering such a person, I wonder? I would say there are 2 chances..... And slim has left town.

STD doesn't bring up all virus's.

Take the HPV virus that causes cancer also spread via oral sex, you can have it for decades and not know until it rears it's ugly head - just ask Michael Douglas.

And not all communicable diseases are sexually transmitted and some, like TB, are potentially more serious to your health than some STIs.

I think this should be an added feature on profiles. Like they have in factories for being accident free. A little box that says:

Disease Free for ??? Days!

In a crisp poke on the A814

I would be more interested in why they felt the need to put it on profile in the first place.....

Well GUD clinics and data gatherers would for a start.
