There's some strange people on this website. Not that bothered about but it seems weird how someone would meet you for a social. Say how much they liked you and you'd do the same and say you'd like to meet again and exchanged naughty emails etc. Then without explanation. Not even a sorry not interested anymore because you said such and such or so and so and then block you and disappear. C'est La vie. Your loss not ours.

I had the same thing happen out of the blue.

Really strange and I still have no idea what actually happened.

I just made other plans and carried on doing what I'm best at-focussing on having fun and moved on.

I find there are far more nice people than strange ones and they're the ones I lavish my attention on to,the rest don't register on my radar,concentrate on the lovely ones and don't give the others a second thought

Some kind words said by all and to be honest everything you all say is True and valid. Just a bit suprised we were dropped so unkindly. We try really hard not to upset people like that and don't think we've done anything unkind to them. I might be wrong. Maybe something we said in a message upset them. Emails can easily be taken the wrong way.

A quick polite message would be nice. Damn it all they even gave us their mobile number, but I am too much of a gentleman to text them, if I wasn't surely they would be leaving themselves open to an abusive call.

For all we know someone may have been taken ill in their family so just something to put our mind at rest would be OK. Anyway if you are reading the forums guys let us know you are OK and really really don't feel you have to be quite so ruthless to peeps like us. No really there's no need :0)

Just to clarify - my anger is specific to someone I met twice but hasn't the balls to say he doesn't want to meet again, but funny how things crop up when I'm free! Yet says he likes me... Yeah whatever!

As has been mentioned, this isn't exclusive to swinging, when I was single it happened a few times with women I met on dating sites. I'd had them as friends on FB (after meeting them through dating site), I purposely didn't delete them, not because I wanted to see what they were doing but because I thought it looks like I was bothered if I did. Anyway, in 3 cases, it became aparant after a short time they had got back with their ex, I concluded it usually goes like this.

1.couple split up.

2.feeling unwanted the dumpee goes on a dating site.

3.dumper finds out and gets jealous that their ex isn't heartbroken

4. Dumper pleads for a second chance

5. Dumpee still has feelings so decides to give another go and feels bad for the new guy she met but is too embarrassed to tell him why she has suddenly gone quiet.

I'm sure if your meet was keen and then disappeared its due to a third party, don't take it personally .

I don't call that rejection, they never had any intention of meeting anyone in the first place - just using you as 'wank fodder' on their day off!! Fine if you're both consenting adults - NOT fine if they deceive you under the pretext of wanting to meet,

That's why the 'no cams, no e-sex, no pics' rules work to filter them out, if there's no chance of a payoff they leave you alone.

Well it would seem there is a happy ending to this thread. Our friends somehow either accidently blocked us by hitting the block sender button when replying to last email or somehow by some freaky act of gremlins in the Fabswingers server we were blocked. Anyway the mystery is solved and we are now back organising the fun. Just to really confound us our mobile network in the area is down too so they tried to send us a message and it didn't get to us. Now isn't that strange. Queue twilight zone music. doo doo. doo doo. doo doo

Lol, it's suprising the number of things that can go wrong. I've sometimes had guys come back months later and apologise 'cos x,y or z happened and stopped them going forward to arrange a meet - you just never know why, there's a million possible reasons.

I got talking to someone on here: casual chat. He lived 100 miles away and I'm not meeting, but we got chatting, I met him for lunch, we got on really well, still wasn't interested in taking it further but I fell for his quiet charm and spent a lovely afternoon with him.

He contacted me when he got home, we chatted, said we'd meet again soon...then nothing, nada, zilch!

I was disappointed and missed his chats...for five minutes! It happens! Yes, it would be nice and I'd like to think I'd not be cavilier with others feelings, but I don't like neediness either.

If I wanted meaningful I'd register on heartsandflowers.com...but we all have our own expectations.
