Reading profiles of single men there appears to be rather a lot who can't accomodate.......maybe due to the fact they aren't single after all ?

Or they dont want virtual strangers in their house for safety or personal reasons, they keep life and swinging seperate.... noone want the awkward moment you meet your 75 year old neighbour on the doorstep after having a screamer in the night before!

There are a lot of single male parents on here. Plus people who care for their parents, plus people who share houses. Current recession and all that. I find its best to ask really.

im single but live with family..so i have company when they away on wkends when home alone and also i pop to birmingham as short train ride away and book meself in a hotel...like now...4 nights, and thats when i make up for lost time haha

I never accommodate as I would hate anyone to be utterly overwhelmed and intimidated when they arrived at my mansion and saw the luxury I surround myself in. Oh and I don't want to explain the boxes of tampax, wedding pics, kids stuff etc....

I have my own apartment, bunped into my next door neighbour tonight, had a natter in the foyer for 10 minutes or so. He doesn't seem worried about what happens at my place, I don't care what he does in his. I used to share an apartment with friends in Manchester centre, they knew about my tastes, only got annoyed once when things went on for a lot time and very noisy, (that was with just one woman).

If my ex husband were on here he would have "can't accommodate" on his profile and he's 100% single. He wouldn't accommodate because he'd sold his house to move into his mums flat to look after her. She died suddenly early this year and he wouldn't want to "sully" her home.

I don't meet men that don't accommodate as one man, whilst lying in my bed, said when asked to accommodate as my daughter was returning from uni "no, I don't invite people off the internet into my home, it's not a knocking shop!"

I assume all have that _iew so I don't meet anyone that doesn't accommodate. That automatically s out the married men anyway!

We have found most single guys who have approached us to be honest enough to tell us if they are in a relationship if asked. It's to their credit and would probably give a reason for not being able to accomodate.

We don't normaly date single guys but do not rule that out.

Just goes to show how we all see things differently. Nearly every other post is single male bashing: it's sport on here!

Sometimes however, people don't automatically "attack" single men as what is being claimed is applicable to all members of Fab.

It's also hypocritical to complain about something you're guilty of yourself! If I posted a thread questioning what single men had to hide by hiding their profile I'd not be surprised if I were challenged about mine!

I put that I can't accommodate as I house share but even if I didn't I'd not want ro invite men I barely know to my house.

However one of the men I play with has been here and is always welcome here purely because he isn't a one off, has a lot of experience, I _iew him as a friend and feel comfortable with him.

As I found out recently, too many men have too many secrets and issues so I'd rather keep my distance from most.

From my experience, there are certainly as many women with issues and some will do the most damaging things to reap revenge to people who don't dance to their tune. Them having your name and address can't be taken back, or facebook accounts that can upset your family.

Ive asked single guys why they cant accommodate as I admit to finding it odd, they have said because live with family, or sharehouse. Personally, sharehouse doesn't bother me, its their personal life, no-one else's but its their choice, I don't judge them. I cant accommodate and say so in profile.

It could be that they aren't single, but also for any of the reasons other people have given. I think there's usually more clues, like what they say in the profile text and if they will meet you in a public place for a coffee meet. Trust your instinct and if it feels wrong don't risk it.

I'm single but can't accommodate due to kids because even when younger ones are at school o have two adult children who live here . If s single man says he can't accom then that's up to them doesn't always mean they are hiding a wife away .....

My preference is not to accom. Purely as I prefer not being in my home environment when playing. It's nice to go out to a hotel and meet on neutral ground. I also feel it adds to the fun.

I guess my front room and bedroom are sacred areas for me

If anyone wants to avoid married 'singles' then whether they can accommodate makes a good filter, it will be right more often than it's wrong.

That will only bother either:

People who are married but cheating

People who have genuine other reasons for not accommodating.

To the first group I'd say tough

I cant and its because of two reasons

1. I live with parents at the minute (sad I know)

2. If I was in my own place I wouldn't like giving my address out to complete strangers as there are so many time wasters out there.

Even so I do agree that most of the time the single men wont be able to accom is because they live with there wife haha

The problem with threads like these is that only those with a genuine reason not to accommodate will post. Someone is hardly going to post and say "I don't accommodate because I'm not really single and my wife wouldn't like it"

Some won't be...just like some single women won't be. Some will house share, have kids too or live with family. Why not used the advanced search feature and look for those that can accom? Problem solved (unless the mrs comes home early from work!)

Or maybe cause they share a house or for the same reasons i dont its my home my safe place my private place outside of swinging...dont want people knowing where i live.

Just not being able to accommodate is no sign of not being single.

Only being able to meet between 8-5 during the week and then only for an hour, and never at weekends or evenings is a big giveaway though.

I'm proud that I can accomodate and anyone who comes here for a meet/social is treated with respect and are allways offered wine etc.,lol, sometimes even breakfast....treat people right, you get more respect

One of the sites I was on haqd an active campaign against single guys (I say active as it was constant bashing against ANY "single male" in sight, even in the chat rooms, and the moderators did nothing ... rather if anyone defended ANY single male that was receiving the onslaught, that person would for some reason would find their account locked.. strange).

The "group" running this "campaign" had one simple idea: any guy that could not accomodate was married and cheating on his partner. A female on the other hand was "exercising her prerogative", and they could be told otherwise as to any other possibilities from these two scenarios. It was disgusting.

Some might well be in a relationship and playinig away. Mostly though you will find they houseshare, live with parents or just plain dont want you in there home as they have kids, dont want neighbours to know etc.

When I first started I would only meet in hotel (I would pay) as it was easier to get to for most couples and gave them a chance to get out their home for some fun.

I do meet in home now and so far only had one instance of someone dropping round on the off chance. Didn't like to to do it but I pretended I was out so didn't have to explain the gangbang going on in !!

I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

As I don't accom it makes it easier if they do but I understand there are many reasons why they may not be able or want to.

..everyone has their own reasons. I can accomodate at times but not all the time. But i am as single as they come.

always makes me wonder when couples profiles say they can't accom. So why is that people always expect the worse of single guys. Through my own experience many so called couples turn out to be single bi guys.
