seeing a face pic

I ask to see a face pic from the start. but i have recently been asked to chat for a bit before they send a face pic to see if im genuine about meets. now personally why waste time chatting if u dont like how they look. so question is do u prefer to chat first or see a face pic first?

Pic first would be nice but I find some women dont

I have had lots of chats with great sounding blokes- they say all the right things and its all very horny. Then eventually they send a face pic and its disappointing to say the least!! Makes you feel like you have been led on a bit- and led them on too.

Our policy now is face pic or forget it! X

I always send a piccy with my very first message to someone, whether it's to ask if they might be interested or even if I'm complimenting someone I may never meet.

I always prefer to chat first before sending a face pic, just as others say there's no point chatting to someone you don't fancy, I don't see the point in sharing face pics with someone unless you have chemistry with them.

Agree with this totally I prefer to chat first especially if they are local to me. No way would I send face pics to randoms unless I was genuinely interested in meeting.

I can understand why some are cautious or shy. Personally I can chat for a bit first no problem and as for my face its there for all to see. The beauty of this place is you can play it however you choose.

See, thats the good thing. People can use the site as they see fit, and if it works for them, even better result. Some folks dn't like to give out their pic due to job or just plain preference. Me personally, i don't mind giving it out as it allows the recipient to make her own mind up if i'm attractive enough for at least a chat!

I would much rather see a face pic first as I am shallow like that...and I am the first to admit it! if the pic looks recent/ok then I am happy to chat!

I want to see a face pic in the first few messages - I'm very visual so if they don't do it for me on looks then its going to take a helluva lotta talk to get me going. And that's not something I do on here.

I work on the premise that whoever made first contact sends the first pic. So if I've been on the prowl I send it, if they messaged me first then I expect to see them first.

This again it depends on who we are talking to as well if they have loads of veris then will be quicker to exchange face pics. Although I do find it funny people who say face pics first but have no visible pics on profile

Always ask after the initial hello, if we like we return ours and introduce ourselves properly (real names etc)..

After being on another forum chat site-I suppose it depends what you're intending to do. If it's chat with a view to meeting then a face picture first is essential but if you're only ever going to chat and not meet say if they were overseas, does it really matter what someone looks like? Doesn't imagination kick in anyway?

Mind you-this is from someone who doesn't do the chat thing

I never send a face pic first, only after I've seen theirs. I'll chat for a bit but then there has to be a pic or there's no point carrying on chatting.

if i message a couple or a female i always send my ugly mug shot however if we are chatting i will never try and dictate the pace as i do not want to be thought of as pushy and also feel this gives the couple or female total control of developments however once they have seen my pictures they usually blow me out

I hide mine from my profile but include one if it's asked of me and I suspect they are genuine or send one with a message I choose to send but I find that pics can be deceiving in themselves. The camera can lie.

Attraction is important to me but the 'key' factor is chemistry.

It's good to get the face pics out of the way but sometimes it's a judgement call on whether it is a fake couple.

I think the verification system on this site is handy along with your instincts

I have a face pic visible on my profile and i include a face pic when i message the first time.

I understand why people dont always want publically visible faces for saftey and privacy concerns and possibly recognisability too, especially if you live in a smaller area.
