Aside from the funny or dull 'fancy a fuck / nice beaver / wanna chat / how are you' messages I receive, I also get a lot of thoughtful, funny, sincere, funny, sweet, genuine and well written messages.

Just wanted to give the (usually bashed) single men a compliment for a change.

i have found there is not really a lot of point making up a massive message as 90% really dont even get looked at and even if you say hello to a lot of women in here most are really aggresive and come up with a million and one reasons why you are not for them but hay hoo

Very true point. If I've got lot message/not in the mood/in a hurry if person has no pic and I can see its a short pointless msg I delete unread. But if it's a good length msg interests me had pics and makes me wana read and talk to him ill make sure I do x

Revolting is a bit of an extreme response!

You'll never please everyone - but for my 2 cents - yours do focus a lot on your 'company' rather than yourself. Might be worth mixing it up a bit - just a bit of constructive feedback!

Just read a post from a couple on another thread bashing single guys again, really is no need for it. Seems a bad few and we all get tarred with the same brush, but look around and there are plenty of nice friendly single guys about.

Of course there are nice single men on here, the rude ones get ignored but that's their own fault, the single men we have met off here have been very polite, always respectful of Ali and send some really nice emails the next day, being polite gets them invited back, and we show them respect too.

It is the normal thing to do and there's admittedly a lot of negativity around but the best thing you can do is just let it go over your head x

I got involved in a bit of a situation myself and it only made me feel worse. Just rise above it x
