Not another moan about people not responding to unsolicited messages, we understand that, just puzzling over a couple of members who have messaged us, who we've liked the sound of, and replied, positively, to find that not only do they not respond again, they delete their accounts within hours!

Are they just dreamers who liked the thrill of pretending to be adventurous, and when it gets a bit more 'real', panic, and run for cover? ...or are we too keen, replying immediately?

Ah well, got a meet on Saturday with verified members, , so we'll play it cool and try not to frighten THEM off!

We was just about to message you, then we saw this thread, not sure if we should now, scared we might get the urge to delete our account.

I don't think there's a definitive answer to that! We've had experience of people just stopping messaging - we assume they've changed their minds, not who they say they are or fantasists! Good luck for Saturday! Z

I think some members on here suffer with insecurity issues, in that, they want to feel “wanted” when someone show interest, it boosts their ego, and off they go to the next victim all rather sad as Zoe mentioned, good luck at the weekend
