UNsexiest Britis Accent?

I believe it's my strong Leeds accent although I've had a few compliments over the years.

Does it make a difference if it's a male or female with the accent?

I love liverpudlian on men, but on women it's a real turn off!

I LOVE the Leeds accent, being not from Leeds but living here for 5 years has made me really like it.

The worst has to be Brummie and that weird Southern 'Student' accent, yah yah gap year etc. where are those people even from??

Any Yorkshire accent is great as is the West Country. I'm afraid Birmingham or Liverpool just don't do it for me.

Whilst a lady with a soft west country accent - I'd be putty in her hands, metaphorically speaking

I usually don't like a really broad accent on anyone. You know, the sort where you need an interpreter.

But for me its Glaswegian on male or female. Scouse and Newcastle on women. Brummie on men.

Cockney barrow boy accents.

Imagine a swingers club opening next to the Queen Vic on Eastenders. Just how horny (NOT) would the company of that crowd be on a night out?

Maybe the accent thing is fashion (like everything else) because scouse was wildly popular in the sixties (John Lennon, Cilla Black etc) but has been derided for the last 30 years, but seems to be coming back in vogue (Paul Hollywood, Simon Rimmer etc)Strangly scouse was and is the most popular British accent with Americans.

The Bimingham/Black country brogue was mega when Slade had 17 consecutive top 20 hits and six number ones.

Don't forget guys todays latest thing is tomorrows tank top

My thoughts, if Jenna McCarty was on this site with a brummie accent I doubt a single bloke would complain. Likweise for the women if Brad Pitt was on here with a Bristol Accent. I know it's a bit of fun but let's not get carried away eh, you'd all change your mind for someone, I know I would

I hate Yorkshire accents, particularly Leeds area.

I can't stand Northern Irish either..or a hard Essex accent on a girl.

Scouse is ok if not too hard.

I do like a soft brummy accent though, guess I'm in the minority but it can be really warm and sexy

Having lived in Leeds for a while now I quite like the accent, it sounds upfront and straightforward. My own accent is Teesside which has the same northeastern Wang as geordies, mackams and monkey-hangers but easier to understand as sits softer lol.

My personal most unsexy doesn't come from any one place, but is that stupid half Jamaican cod patois that is spoken by white middle class kids in bennie hats trying to sound like Dappy...
