cam stopped working

some time ago my cam stopped working and a forum suggested downloading something like "mycam" ?? which worked a treat. I cannot find the advice in any of the forums. My cammera has stopped working again and for the life of me I cannot remember what the site was. I use Yahoo as my search engine and have a mikomi cam which works fine everywhere else. BTW I am no technophobe

I have the latest adobe flash player. Have tried 10.3 and 11.1.102.63 to no avail

Thank you for all the response but if you get the same problem check that yr active filtering is not clicked on
