Why don't you photo verify?

I see it more often that people are verified by others that appear genuine but are photo verified. Any particular reason?

I would trust a photo verify over a meet as its easier to fake those.

I have don't see why others dont I often presume those that don't use fake photos that are slimmer/curvier/sexier than their own and can't do so if they photo verify.

I would say you have to treat each profile individually based on what evidence you have. Thats the way i do it anyway.

Really, how so?

You would trust a random picture with a profile name on it, over a veri or pic from a meet?

Pics these days, even for a troglidite like me, are easy to manipulate, whereas a meet veri or pic is much more likely to be the real thing.

This is a good question and IMO its mostly due to the fact even though they may have a verification from another member or members they find it hard to fake a photo verification.

If you are a fake you would be less likely to try and fake a photo verification. I have both and have only been on here a few weeks.

I believe many experienced couples can sniff out many fakers in a number of ways. At least that's been my experience on meeting couples from here and other sites.

But they don't have to show their photo veri pic so what difference does that make "

When a picture administrator looks at the picture they can check any others or check new pictures against the photo verified one a 10 stone difference will be pretty obvious

We arent photo verified as cant be bothered. Our list of verifications speak for themselves. We dont feel the need to photo verify to be honest ........

ur photo verified, been on the site 8mths...whats to say U arent together anymore and its just Mr sitting there?

now if u had a meet or two...I'd be likely more inclined to be interested9take that from a cpls viewpoint also)

This.

But also... I know a couple that had a veri from the Saturday but they split up on the Sunday and one of them continued to use the profile for weeks after. There's no definitive answer. The only way to know if someone is real is to meet them.

Fair point, I can see that. But if anyone read our profile they would see we will never be meet verified as that's not what we're looking for.

The people we do chat to know we're genuine as we post photos for challenges and such

Someone did message us to say this is a prickly subject.

Perhaps photo verified should have a time limit so you renew it? To prove your still part of a couple?

I've never felt the need to get photo verified ! If I have say 15 meet verification and they all say it was the meet was fab and I was sexy etc then I must be the same person who sent them pics!!! And I don't see the point in showing pics that are not you if you really want to meet people ! Can't imagine meeting someone and hearing them gasp as I walk in ! Because they are expecting a super model ! And a fat old bird walks in !!!

verifications are so easy to fake, if you want to, I meet mostly happily married men, so last thing I would want is a verification, or last thing I would give, I am discreet, that's why I get dates.

well thats good, as ur profile is saying what it does...others arent, and are aimed at meets

again not sounding nasty...but I'd be bored of the cyberness of all that, I'd even say i'd rather at least see a cam and know who I'm talking to(ie female), ur pics n challenges prob only work for a small select group on the site..I can imagine ur bypassed quite alot

not trying to pick apart ur profile, more ur statement about a photo verification than anything else, as it stands..its like me saying ive met hundreds of TV'/TS's but I choose to hide the verifies..but I'm well experienced with that particular group, and a TV/TS would probably think I'm just gonna be a timewaster/fantasist if I had messaged them with the line

I don't use fake photos, but not photo verified either, don't see need with 113 meet in person verifications.

Guess it depends on your life experiences, both J and I have worked with graphics for years, so we don't trust photos on face value. So as a method of verification we will only look for meet types. So our opinion is diametrically opposed to yours.

We didn't bother getting photo verified I till recently as we had other veris from meets. However when a couple or single gem message us. I find it difficult to believe when they aren't verified. It takes seconds and it just means there is less of a chance to be fake. Still gotta keep careful. But anyone can make a profile on here and start to message people. at least with genuine veris and photo veri means they are much less likely to be famed.

We viw it the other way we prefer verifications by meeting but we mean by more than one after all if the verifiers have lots different verifications wed assume they were pretty genuine.

A picture only proves the person is who they say they are doesnt say anything about personality reliability etc so we will stick to our tried and tested method not let us down as yet

When we joined there was no photo verification, the only way you could get verified was by meeting another verified couple.

So as we have been verified genuine why do we need to do it with a picture.

If having no green flag stops us having meets then so be it, besides we are members of the AA lol

A photo veri can be faked in about 5 mins with most free photo apps these days. A meet veri is a lot harder to fake needing to ip addresses two accounts somehow getting one account verified so it can then veri the other. The way we look at it is if somebody is meet verified then by more than a couple of people then chances are they are real if its only one veri then we back track checking the person who left the veri and so on.

Nothing's perfect and its down to the individual how they use the tools the site provides to determined if they will meet a member.

we left the site for a little while a year ago, so lost all our meet verifications, no one will meet unverified people so we got photo verified to start us off
