As all the major faiths preach against fornication I can't see how one can be a 'swinger' and say you are a practising member of any faith

I guess you can say you're religious which isn't the same as saying you practise a religion but then again seeing as, in my experience, most church/mosque/etc goers are a bunch of hypocrites then yes, you can claim to be a swinger as well as regularly attending whichever religious service you choose to

For me religion is a way of manipulatin people so others can have power

The abrahamic religions (Christianity, Judaism & Islam) are all ones which seek power over others and are inherently evil

None are compatible with swinging but most swingers I know have more goodness in then than any religious zealot

Why be so pedantic? It was just one illustration to show that sex and religion often go hand in hand. I could have spoken about the orgies that the Canaanites held while worshipping Baal and Molek but I'm sure you'd find something to troll about that too.

While a lot of terrible things have happened in the name of religion there are also lots of examples of very sincere people doing great work to help others. For you to dismiss them so generally (in a previous post in this thread) says more about you than them.

The word religion covers so many differing sects that the only answer to the op questions is yes there are indeed some religious doctrines cults and sects which are harmonious with swinging x

However if the op was using the word religion yet really referring to the mainstream doctrine of the fab 4 then the answer would be, not without without disobeying the standards suggested by the religion thus a catholic swinger is not a fully practicing catholic

Bearing in mind it is believing in and following the doctrine of, a particular religion which gives the person a religious label in the first place It is mainly nonchalant ignorance which causes many citizens of the UK to proclaim they are Christian or c of e when in reality all they really have is an agnostic thought that a creator god may exist

And yes people who think a creator god exists are daft and those that follow the top 4 religions as a rule book written by a true authority are also daft and sometimes dangerous often bigoted

It is a reasoned valid comment to articulate any person who takes a stance of belief with zero evidence is daft x

Religion in its many forms is a man made concept created by man for man and different societies as a whole.

So for me I can't actually see how or why religion can conflict with anything I get upto/want to get upto when I'm having my extra special nakedy time

Interesting I think we may find the doctrine of Islam and Christianity would indeed conflict with the sexual desires of homosexual men , if they had been born into either sect and wished to please the horrid creature of the myth their sexual activities would indeed cause mental anguish x
