Not me. Never have and never will. Not because I am worried my closest friends would be judgemental, but because they are so open-minded they would want to know every little detail and I'm not prepared to give them that! They actually think I'm pretty sexually deproved I think

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Most of my close friends know I see more than one person at a time. If they came out and asked if I was a swinger, I'd say yes. I'm fairly openly bi, but I've never seen the importance of having to label every part of my life.

Being bi or being a swinger is just part of what makes me who I am. And I'm happy with that.

No, I'm seeing someone from the site exclusively and having "not currently meeting only using the site to chat to friends or reading the forum" didn't stop people wasting their time messaging me, so hide my profile.....

I'm pretty active in the forums & have attended site organised parties, do nothing to hide.

So that organisations can prove they're not discriminating against certain groups on the grounds of sexuality.

It's an odd one. If you don't ask, you can't know so you can't discriminate but if you don't ask, you can't produce stats to prove you don't discriminate.

We don't go telling everyone but family know and some very good friends know too. If someone asked us I wouldn't deny it at all. I would say why we have this lifestyle and let them decide for themselves I'm proud of what we do. It means we have a loving relationship and a trusting relationship now how many non swingers have that ? Truthfully

Sat in a bar the other night and was randomly approached by a local young lady. We had a drink and a chat - she asked what I usually did when visiting with work - so I told her!

Showed her the site, she was fascinated - and by next morning after a fun filled night she was talking about signing up! Just shows that there's a lot of folk out there with serious misconceptions about the scene and the kind of people who participate in this lifestyle!

All my good friends know plus a couple of work colleagues that I car pool with...my parents and any workmates that ask know I "date" different blokes and that I've met them via t'interweb. I'd prefer my parents not to find out I'm bisexual and shag loads of people, but that's cos they're a bit old fashioned - if push came to shove though I'd sooner 'fess up to being a muff munching cock addict than submit to blackmail (for example)

We did tell a couple of people we were swingers when we found their profiles and recognised their pics on here and other sites , made for an interesting coffee morning aswell x

I need to be vetted ie. CRB enhanced - it's not part of that. Was just wondering which employers would be allowed to ask about people's sex lives - secret services perhaps? Although they'd already know of course

My work. I have a DV clearance (developed vetting), it's reviewed annually, 2 of my referees were interviewed as was I. On my original interview I told them I was bisexual and promiscuous and that I had previously been a swinger, when I joined Fab, I put it on my review form. It's mostly if you work with sensitive material (in my case it's the nuclear industry) and they're more interested in seeing if you're bribable

Any time the question has come up we've been totally honest about it and never had a problem.

Lots of interest and probably a few converts but never any problems.

If ever anyone has put the lifestyle down, due to a T.V programme or whatever, we'd always stand up for what we believe in, not in our nature to do otherwise or sit in embarrassed silence.

It's great that so many people on this thread are open about it, the more people that are, the more chance of swinging becoming accepted in general.

There are just a couple of friends that know but most do not. not necessarily because we are hiding it we just don't bring up our sex life in regular conversations. I'm not worried about anyone asking. most would never in a million years think that we were swingers.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I don't class myself as a swinger since I'm a single woman looking for single men. However I have made it known that I use the net to 'hook up' with men. I don't go into details. Most also know I have an fb.

My friends know I'm on here, not sure if I'd call myself a swinger, but I have met married and single men but am looking for a reg guy

Lots of our friends no and some family. Doesn't really bother us but there is some family we wouldn't like to find out.
