In the past i've been on meets where i've met people who would constantly check their phones for texts while we were chatting, would talk all night about their past conquests and would even go online to show me photos of other guys they've met or wanted to meet, WTF

lol.

Now maybe its just me, lol, but has this happened to anyone else?

I've had people talk about who they have met or going to meet which I find very rude but that's mostly on here not on a meet ,an old playmate did go on about his old playmate sometimes which annoyed me I had to tell him that I really didn't want to know lol

It really surprises me that some people don't realise what they're doing on a meet. I wouldn't dream of mentioning any other woman if i was with a woman already and my phone and pc would both be switched off and stay off until she left. Any woman that's with me would get my undivided attention as its only plain courtesy afterall.

I know this against the popular view but I don't think it's that's bad.

If it were a "date" then maybe it's different but if it was a meet for sex only (kinda what this site is for) then talking about your previous meets, who you fancy or who you know doesn't see, terrible to me.

Personally I find it quite iterating someone is telling me about their previous experiences and its a turn on.

I have had similar though I don't normally mind if its with their children. I don't discuss guys I have met with meets, don't think that is appropriate though I might mention something we did, realistically its none of anyone's business who I have met

My phone does remain on during meets mainly because I have children that stay out overnight when I meet so I need it for an emergency (never happened yet thankfully) but I wouldn't spend all night on it only really check messages if they went to the bathroom or out for a cigarette.

And as for talking about meets I would only do that if asked and some do turns them in to hear about previous endeavours

I did a social with a really cool couple and we sat in a pub exchanging stories about different meets we'd had.

We're some funny stories as well as hot ones. It was nice to meet people who were liberated enough to actually talk about it for once.

i think you deserve better. i have met a few men like that who talk about the other women they have met.

sometimes i think it makes them feel better to brag about the other people they have met, and as for looking at your text messages, i think that is bad manners.

I have been asked by men to tell them how I got involved in swinging and how many guys I've met. Not blow by blow accounts, obviously, but in general terms.

We had this with a couple recently. They sat there talking about all their previous meets but not in a good way then after we played and were having a drink before the long drive home were then logged into fab looking for their next meet for the day. This amongst other things put us off meeting them ever again

we have ended up sharing the horror stories a couple of times - its a bit of an ice breaker to chat about it when you first meet (no names ever mentioned thought no need for that)

Happened to me a fair bit on social meets with younger guys (the few that actually turned up and didn't bottle it!) Where they have played with their phones constantly. If they continued to do it after I've asked them pointedly if they're on call then I've walked out. If they're rude at a social I dread to think what they'd be like on an actual meet. Ms

I cant stand it if a guy is constantly checking his phone ! I keep mine in my bag and only look when I pop to the loo. I DO love hearing about other meets tho - good and bad xx

^^^^ this. Fab is what we have in common so I sometimes find that sharing funny stories breaks the ice. I'd never go into details or name people obviously as thats just bad manners.

I once met someone who logged onto Fab and showed me private pictures of a couple on his friends list. He was deleted as soon as I got home

i don't mind hearing about meets as long as the conversation is in context and not bragging or slagging!

As for someone being constantly on the phone, very rude. If I'm meeting alone i have to text Master to let him know I'm there and ok, but then phone goes in bag!

I agree I certainly don't mind sharing swinging anecdotes with other swingers as long as they aren't play by plays or obvious bragging just fun conversation. Checking the phone in the middle of conversation is pretty rude though. A quick look while im talking to someone else or leaving the table for a minute wouldn't bother me especially if i know they have children or something like that. Of course since we are a couple we are usually with a group of 4 people or more. if you were on a 121 i think it would be a little different.

i draw the line at picture sharing though. Showing pictures of other people is bad taste and in my opinion disrespectful to the person In the picture. If someone did this while we were out with them i would assume they would use my pics the same way and that would put me off. I would not be happy to find out someone was showing my pictures to people i dont know.

No I most certainly did not and would not either! It was a social meet and he was deleted as soon as I got home.

If he showed me pictures of others then I assumed he did the same with everyone on his friends list.

I do have some morals thank you!

That's pretty rude. I should add:

1: I'd only bring up previous meets if it was in the spirit of the convo, or if specifically asked. Otherwise, all that info can be accessed from my profile.

2: When it comes to checking phones, as some have mentioned, they might need to check up on their kids, etc. However, i still approach this on a case by case basis. In some situations, it can be pretty rude regardless.

Thankfully i've been lucky in this regard.

I wouldn't have played with them - if they were slagging off their previous meets TO us then I'd assume they'd do the same ABOUT us to their next meet. Not acceptable at all

I have to agree, I keep my phone on as I have disabled parents & I'm a carer for my dad but you can be discrete about it & it is not necessary to keep on the phone. I will only meet if I have at least a few hours & will not keep watching the time. The person I meet has kindly agreed to meet so the least I can do is make sure he has my ful attention. xx

I think it's some sort of guilt problem with some people, a way of dealing with the enormity of recreational sex. My girlfriend visited a spa with me once and we split up. She met a hot older black guy, and spent a delightful couple of hours with him in one of the restrooms. Then he picked up his mobile to find dozens of messages from his wife, which he clearly knew would be there, asking where he was. This put rather a damper on the encounter, especially when he actually said to her, "My wife doesn't understand me..."

I keep my phone on at all times and might check at start and possibly end of meet but try to do in car before and after.

If I have a txt or call I apologise and check phone as I have 3 little ones with ex and would not be able to live with myself if they went in to hospital etc and I was busy playing.

I have had my phone almost two year's and think it has been turned of maybe 8 times.

If its a mutual conversation about sharing stories thats fine, nothing wrong with that at all, but when someone just goes off on one bragging about conquests without even being asked, i think thats rude and also a sign of sexual insecurity if they feel the need to brag about it to everyone they meet.

Thats fine, if you've asked her to tell you what she's been up to there's nothing wrong with that, but its a completely different matter when someone is not asked but will still brag away all night regardless.

Chatting in a roundabout way about previous meets wouldn't be a problem.

But we nearly deleted our account because of some stupid person (who is, or was obviously on our friends list) as he showed our pics to someone we'd previously turned down for living to close to us. The guy messaged us and said, nice pics next time I see you at school I'll say hi shall I. Absolutely freaked me out as we are so careful on here regarding our pics and then some idiot does this to us. Still don't feel comfortable with the idea that someone knows us, but we have no clue who he is. And we never found out who showed him which is even worse.

Totally agree with this... I think it's natural to talk about past Fab experiences (so long as you're discreet and no names are mentioned) and, as a couple of people have said, it can be quite a turn on to hear peoples stories.

I enjoy hearing others disaster stories from here but that's usually during a few drinks 3 or 4 meets down the line......the first meet is to focus on that moment and that person only in my opinion

we previously had a meet where we had confirmed who we were meeting through phone calls etc. When we arrived after several discrepancies regarding address, obviously old photo of him etc. we sat chatting, all the time she was texting on her phone during our conversation then when she finally turned her attention towards us she was telling us all about a previous meet where she had told him to leave because she was bored because he couldn't get hard...... The next sentence was shall we all go upstairs then.....My reply was an instant sorry no and we left immediately.

I met for a social meet. He asked if he could make a quick phone call: fine. He phoned the garage about his car, his insurance agent, the hire car company.

He didn't notice when I left but phoned a couple of hours later to find out what had happened to me.

I've not taken to play meet men who've named people they'd met and were derogatory. They'd do the same to me: no ta!
