I have seen quite a number of people posting contradictory statements and wants on their profiles. EG one couples profile said "don't bother to reply if you are old" They then go on to say will meet between 18 to 99years. How old do they think old is? Over 99years judging buy that.

I am sure it's not confined to just couples but as I am mainly interested in meeting couples I do tend to find confusing statements not matching their profile. Of course I am sure single women and guys are no better.

If a profile confuses you - move on! Simples!!

There's plenty that are clear in terms of wants and preferences. Those that contradict themselves (e.g. Smokers that won't meet smokers) will often have been created with little care and attention - which highlights the type of person behind the profile!

Not just confusing me of course but confusing everybody. I read all profiles and statements before deciding to send a PM to anybody. I try as much as possible to fit the profile others are looking for which I understand is quite rare for a single guy judging by some of the replies I receive and the statements made on couples profiles I

Needless to say I decided not to PM this particular couple.

I have a very specific preference on my profile - but the email filters " what I want " are wide open 18-99. I post a lot on the forum - go in chat rooms and go to clubs and post reviews - and no one would be able to message me to ask a q say hello etc otherwise xx

Or. "Won't meet single guys" you look at there 40 verifications and 37 are men ????

Better still is the "straight" guys with loads of verifications from other guys. Now if it's social that's fine, but nine times out of ten they're for play meets, so how does that make them straight!
