Come on guys at least take them off before taking your pictures, it makes it much easier when trying to convince people you're single!

Yes you are right. Anyway, if they take them off for a meet we would see the white mark or indentation too. I lost my wedding ring, had to buy a cheap argos special - oh was not impressed. bad me long story

My OH has worn his ring on middle finger for the last 40 years .

It flew off the day after we married .. I took it shoved it on his middle finger said right it will stay on this one.. has done ever since

sometimes camera reverses the image and ring could be on right hand too.

I dont agree with the dishonesty of playing away however if a guy is on here playing alone he has to have a single guys profile. ..there isnt an option for married but playing solo....I know a few chaps on here who have permission from their other halves to play however taking their ring off screams as much worse form of cheating....maybe ask before you assume worst of them....

Well I'm a bit more cynical, a married guy playing on his own and I have to take his word for it that he has his wife's permission? Or he admits his wife doesn't know?

Either way my address for his wife to find on his mobile just doesn't make me comfortable, never mind the moral issue!

I am a widower and I still wear mine, if asked I say why. I think the tanline from a missing ring is more indicative of a cheat than somebody who wears one. A single friend of mine wears a wedding ring when he goes out on the pull at his local hypermarket, he says its easier to pull NSA one nighters if they think he is married and has something to lose by getting clingy
