At 32 years old surely you know the answer to this? Asking complete strangers, on a swingers site, such a question seems to us pointless. Speak to family and friends not strangers!

It's something I am considering to improve my social life, would you recommend it?

I did that too

I moved from Mansfield to Dudley for my job, to a place where I knew no one, took me a long time to adjust and I still get home sick now, its hard to live in a strange area with no family or friends

If you moved 90 miles from Crewe - YES.

If you moved 90 miles to Crewe - DEFINITELY NOT!!!

I've done it twice, first from Brum to London, soon got myself a great group of friends, great social life, and generally had a great time - never regretted it once.

Moved out to North Herts 2 years ago and it has been a totally different experience. Have made very few friends and do feel isolated, still tend to socialise in London and ironically the only people I've got to know are those on the local kink scene who we tend to go out in London with. In Brum and London it was easy to meet people, gym, running, cycling, pub, gigs - all of those have drawn a blank here.

The point I'm getting to OP is that if it makes you unhappy move again. I suspect that Crewe may have a similar small town mentality to here. Some places are more welcoming than others. Living in a town you aren;t happy in can be a depressing experience

It depends entirely on you. I moved 200 miles away for a job, and a mortgage but had a breakdown, spiraled into depression and the relationship I was in (the man who I had the mortgage with) came to an end. I felt isolated and trapped and as someone who has always had a very close family, I wasn't coping being so far away from my Mum.

At that point there was no life for me up there.

Home-sickness is difficult to get over but if this move will benefit you in the long run, it may be worth trying to stick it out if you can.

We made a very drastic move last year... From somewhere I loved to somewhere I loath! But you deal with it,

Make the most of what you have! Whilst Luke is semi happy here I get really homesick but it's a move we had to make at the time!

Only you can really answer your question OP
