Reads pretty well to me mate... I suspect you may get some peeps avoiding you because they may suspect that Mrs Mally isn't necessarily au fait with your activities, but I can't suggest anything you can do to address that, just making the observation.

Your description says you are athletic, and therefore, at 35 your bod should be in good nick, so I think you are underselling yourself with your only visible photo ... I'd replace with something showing a bit more of you (but not MiniMally, there's enough of them on show! )

haha theres been loads of guys and couples, ok mainly guys the past few weeks wanting pointers on their profiles, i've been here long enough now not to care what the new peeps think, I have a good group of friends so I'm happy with that. just curious what the critics would say about my profile thats all

Profile wise humour is always appreciated by people so it looks good and it isn’t all crammed up for reading.

Maybe a fresh picture though, say a blue shirt or a nice white one as people look at fresh pictures.

The big clue is in the word "perceived".

I offered him no judgements, no condemnation, no fire and brimstone even, just the simple advice that the perception of some with regards to his marital status would be his main disadvantage

I certainly wasn't suggesting that you were accusing, twobonks....I understood the point you were making...maybe I should have made that clear...my point was was simply that yes....it may be a disadvantage...but certainly in this case unfair.....but yes...some people will jump to conclusions. His previous posts also show that the OP is more than smart enough to see my comments were no kind of personal attack just a simple observation in answer to his question.

Others have imagined something more sinister that simply is not there, hence the thread drift, hopefully it will can get back on course now

To me it looks like a little bit of devilment and to some of the others above i gather as well. So make of it what you will but it could have created problems if people had reacted in a different way.

Yes I realised that you weren't accusing ..that's why I posted again to make sure peopole didn't think that my response was a retaliation. It just shows how people can read things and take them to mean something else...and underlines it too...lol. Everyone is just so quick to judge...and part of that is down to only having the text to read....no body language to help with the tone of a post.
