Critique my profile please

Hi, I have been here for about week now and getting more comfortable with the comings and goings but I wonder if as a single male my profile is perhaps in need of sprucing up. Perhaps a little humour? Something that gives women and couples a better sense of who I am? I am a widower but feel that mentioning it puts a downer on things?

I also seem to be getting quite a few male hits so I wonder if they think my nickname bigunslover means I am a firearms enthusiast who swings both ways.

Thanks for any feedback, this is not a cheap trick to "market" myself to the forumistas xx

I like your profile. You have taken the time to write a good introduction. I assume you have a face pic in your private gallery???

On a personnel choice note I am not so keen on the pic your showing. You have a very nice body but I would lke it more if you had a snug pair of jeans on or some nice undies. Willy pics to show people later is fine I just prefere it that way not everyone does. Meantioning your a widow is your choice, but you can always tell people when you get to know them a little better.

Some people tend not to be over keen on the word 'professional' when it's used in profiles.

Some tend to think that it portays the profile holder as being aloof, or a little bit better than others by claiming to be professional.

I agree with the other posters,you should edit the professional bit out and get yourself a photo in nice boxers or tight jeans, showing all is not that sexy, leave a little for us females to wonder about and want to see more of. good luck. Eve x

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate you all taking time to write.

Later today I will put some jeans on and get my camera out and take a couple of Calvin Klein type photos... IN MY DREAMS

I will ditch the "professional" bit now and change the pic tonight, sit back and wait for the ladieees to flock to me

I would just like to point out that I had to look at your profile to see if you were bi. reason being is that your name is in reference to guns....so surely you would have been better putting another g in it. ie biggunslover coz otherwise it looks like bi guns lover do you know what I mean. not wishing to sound picky just an observation. otherwise i think your profile looks good. however speaking from a womans perspective i would prefer to see a sexy shot of your body partially covered by a towel or perhaps a open fly jeans pic with a promise of something. rather than a full nude one. that could be put in your private gallery.

Thx PnP yes judging by the number of chaps I have had cruising past lately, methinks a change of name is in order. I do love a nice pair of breasts but the more I think about it the more tacky I think my "handle" is so I will change it.

Some look at others profiles to get some ideas for their own too.

Believe it or not I have actually been sat here for 30 mins trying to think of a name. No wonder my business has gone down the pan!

I wanted something modest and funny but my mind is a blank so all I could come up with is Jim'll_mix_it

At least it hits the target demographic of over 40's...
