I see there are four different types you can buy. For those that have used this before, which is the best type to get??

I have not used it but interested in trying it as suffer terribly from "razor rash" when shaving private parts.

Snap but been told magic powder can burn so haven't had the guts to try it x

Have used magic powder platinum and it leaves you very smooth

Hubby once had a small patch on his bum react and burn a little but other than that no adverse effects

There's not much difference between them to be honest, the mild one may be a bit softer but otherwise don't worry too much, I pick the platinum when faced with a choice but have some gold at present and its fine.

What I do think is different is powder verses cream; the magic cream has major advantages in that you don't have to mix it up and it doesn't dry out in use. That makes it a lot easier to use, the disadvantage is that it takes longer to work, I can leave it on for 20min to get the effect of powder in 10 - 12 min. (both times longer than recommended on the packaging but I have worked out what suits me).

Major point thought, don't leave the powder version on for 20 min, it feels like paint stripper! lol

Try a forum search there's loads on this topic. This is one subject that could be made sticky if we had the option!

I had read some of the other threads as that's how I found out about it in the first place but there didn't seem to be a consensus of which was would be a better option for a newbie like myself to use.

Will take the plunge and try one and see what happens, thanks again!
