Would you tell them ???

Lets say you had been in conversation via chat with a couple who had said that they do full swap, with more or less anyone, bareback and the male was bi.

Lets then say that based on that info you decided that you did not want to meet them.

However, later you find out that a man who you know had shagged the woman from the couple, again bareback.

Would you then inform mutual friends of the mans high risk behaviour ? Or take the view that it's up to everyone to look out for themselves healthwise ?

As far as I'm concerned anyone on here could of played bare back. Just because they don't advertise it, show pics or put safe sex in their profile doesn't mean they always play safe.

Everyone is responsible for protecting themselves to the best level they can. So I don't see the point of telling people tbh.

We are all adults responsible for our own health. Every time you go with a partner you go with every partner they ever had. You take your choices

However, later you find out that a man who you know had shagged the woman from the couple, again bareback.

You can chose to walk away, its your choice, your standards, and you would not expect to be criticised for it.

Others have their own standards, up or down from yours as you may view them, but its their standards; do they deserve a different level of treatment?

We know people who's behavior we consider risky (very in some cases) and chose to be social but not play with them.

What we don't do is get involved in playing referee, who can and who can't etc, everyone hates being judged, especially negatively and it rapidly leads to hard feelings, often causing pain and recriminations way beyond that which was intended.

You are here intending to have sex with real or comparative strangers, protect yourself (and your partner) to your standards and let others make there own decisions.

Live and let live.

(Apologies if this reads a bit strong, I recognise it is difficult not to step if you see someone being harmed but you will rarely be thanked for helping one against another. If you believe the harm is measurable then let your conscience be your guide.)

and if people the've played with are bare backers, give em a miss. But a lot more are not posting these now for that reason.

Totally fair point raised ... to tell or not to tell . It really is far more sensible to keep out of others moralistic standards . You could openn a whole can if worms by gossiping . Just stay schtum and remember .... assuming bareback is the only way of catching something is naive. Often barebackers get themselves checked out far more often than safe sex folk !!!
