Having never been to a swingers club before, and obviously having heard so much from you guys about what goes on 'behind closed doors' I've been wondering what the deal is with alcohol/drugs at these events? I mean light/hard drugs aren't for me but if that's you're idea of fun by all means go ahead, it doesn't offend me, but yeah I was wondering what goes on! Or maybe I should just go find out haha.

In my experience, whenever alcohol is involved, sooner or later there's an unpleasant incident to spoil things. The more people, the more booze, the more likely it is for the whole evening to be ruined.

Of course, some people know just how much they can enjoy, but even someone who has had enough to "just shed their inhibitions" is one glass of wine away from crying because their partner isn't paying them enough attention.

As for other substances...there's a time and a place, and a swinging club just isn't one of them. It's not like backstage at a Motley Crue gig, and many people will gladly inform the staff if you are getting totally wasted - no-one wants to be dealing with anyone who is fucked up.

yeah drugs and booze mess things up, people react differently and buried feelings come out. Also drink and drugs make some and I emphasise some, men less inclined to respect boundaries.

Moderation in alcohol but absolutely no to drugs

Moderation is key - a swingers club with d*unks of either sex would end up a very unruly and ugly place

of the 3 clubs i have been to only had a licensed bar. we wet on a social night and most people seemed to handle it ok. we did encounter one d*unk person though.

the other 2 were BYOB. again most are sensible but i have witnessed a few who couldn't handle their drink.

drugs for me are a no go wherever and whenever. all 3 drugs had a zero tolerance stance on them. 1 i know sold viagra but i am not sure that that s wat you mean by hard drugs lol

As per last post , drugs are a big NO NO ! We have been to private house parties where there is the unmistakable smell of cannabis ,which we stay away from (our employers conduct CDT)

The only d*unk people we regularly encounter are women , the guys drink to moderation probably because of the effects drink has on erectile problems lol

The better clubs will ask d*unk people to leave immediately and to drugs a club will not want consumption of drugs on their premises - as said in good clubs that's a life ban. This if the police hear about it, then the club will get a surprise visits from the police...
