tomtom POI swing clubs

If the admins will allow this.I am trying to get a database of poi files for tomtom of swing clubs.

The poi is points of interest

I need help from others.As you know the postcode for finding place is not that great or the addres or direction to a club are not always that clear.what I need If you know the exact location of a club/venue can use use google maps and find the exact place of the club then right click on location and select "whats here" it should put a downward pointing arrow on map and at top of place there should be some numbers.next to where it says

Google Maps numbers like this

53.510241,-1.144866

(these are for the 101 in doncaster)

the more accurate you are the better

If you could post these numbers and name of club/venue I can make a POI file.Then if site allows I will send the files to the admins and they can post on site for tomtom users to upload to the tomtom so its easier to find the place

I already have poi for

101 doncaster

Le chambre sheffield

Isisquest Leeds

which i have on my blog but i will gladly share them with any one that wants them

Not at all.

Lets be honest there are other things to think about when you get to a club though.

Saying that I think that as idea's go I have definitely heard worse.

you dont need to do it when your at the club. If you can find the club on google map at home then thats all you need to do and then post up the details

This seems like a good idea. If the site allows this, maybe they would consider adding the individual Lat&Lon to each club in the clubs section? Maybe even a link to GoogleMaps?

I think this is a really good idea.

It would make visiting different clubs easier as a new driver I am literally lost with out my tomtom lol

Sorry to tell you that the POI file already exists on TomTom and is free to download, you'll be wasting your time.

Oh yes its on ours and last time we used it to get to 101 club it took us right to the front door (archway to the carpark really)

Nope its not from PGPSW. If you are running the TTHome software, it is available via that medium, under the download POI's section, it also contains far more clubs than you list as well.

@ B&K just found it thanks for that.Ive emailed tomtom offeing my extras to it from the help ive already recieved off here.I will just keep plodding along and see how far i get
