"Pansexual? Is that someone in the process of gender reasignment? "

No it isn't, Wikipedia says:-

'Pansexuality, or omnisexuality, is sexual attraction, sexual desire, romantic love, or emotional attraction toward people of all gender identities and biological sexes. Self-identified pansexuals may consider pansexuality a sexual orientation,[3] and refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are insignificant or irrelevant in determining whether they will be sexually attracted to others.[4] The Oxford English Dictionary defines pansexuality as, "not limited or inhibited in sexual choice with regard to gender or activity".

The concept of pansexuality deliberately rejects the gender binary, the "notion of two genders and indeed of specific sexual orientations", as pansexual people are open to relationships with people who do not identify as strictly men or women.

No that's not what it means.

I don't see a need for a Pansexual tick box as most people won't understand what it means.

I class myself as pansexual, i'm attracted to a person regardless of their sex. It's the actual person i'm attracted to.

I consider myself pansexual also but tend to state I'm bi because a lot of people have no clue what pansexual is.

Essex.

I understand what you are saying, but don't think we need to add another label. Most people on here need some sort of attraction before they will play/cam. You play with a person you are attracted to by personality. So unless you are looking for a long term relationship bi covers what you are for swinging. If you find a person to play with you are attracted to, does it matter if they are straight, bi or gay. I know in the real world things are more complicated, but on here my personal opinion is keep it simple. This is just my (R) option and not intended to cause any offence...

I only came across this label the other day and thought there are lots of pansexuals on here and was just getting other people's thoughts.

An awful lot of people on here can't agree what the words straight, bi or gay mean - and insist on putting their own interpretation on them.

I don't think that it will help much throwing another variant into the mix! You probably won't be able to use it to describe yourself, because too many people will be busy telling you what you're wrong and that you're really something else....

Good luck though!

So true!! Especially the bit about people telling us that we don't know what we are!

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I had a look at another well known site more for fetishists and the list of labels was HUGE (plus I had to look up a few of them!). I'm happy with Straight, Bi and Gay - if people want to explain more fully in their profiles then that's fine by me seeing as I do actually read them...mind you, I suppose I could go for Omnisexual on occasion

Titz Towers, North Notts

I get asked what I'm into a lot when I'm out.

I like to say I'm happily bi, which means anyone on two legs is a possibility if there's mutual attraction. Anything with 4 legs is too much and anything with 8 legs gives me the heebie jeebies....

"Might be an option on the tick box for this site..your thoughts please? "

I was going to put this up as a post, thought I'd check to see if had been suggested first....

I think its a great idea, and do agree, a lot of the times 7/10 maybe, I have to explain, when in clubs, etc, that NO!, it doesn't mean I fuck Tefal frying pans

Every day is a school day, so why not learn what it means?. I also came across the name, of another site, a few years ago. I describe it as, liking a person, for who they are, not what they are, I am attracted to other people regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.

I have straight on my profile, as Bi isn't an option I consider myself, so for me personally, I'd love it as an option :D

Yes, I do. It's when people claim to be open to various sexualities. Some of these people often say they're "up for anything" when you ask them what they like but when you're in bed with them it turns out they're lying.

This does not apply to the person I was discussing this with above though.
