Mainly from women I hasten to add but I've read a few profiles where the lady is looking for more than a casual meet, more like a regular monogamous relationship. Unrealistic on a site like this or can love be found on fab

It happens. Some last, some don't. Love can blossom anywhere. If this is a lifestyle you don't think you could give up when in a relationship it makes sense to try and find someone who likes swinging as well. Saves awkward conversations and all that.

I think if they are looking for monogamy they are going to be disappointed.. I am certainly not looking for anything..

I've been involved in the swinging scene for 6 years now. And I mean the scene, socials, munches, friends that I met here, not just a website. I would find it impossible to give up if I wanted to begin a relationship.

At this point in my life I don't want a relationship, if I decide in the future I do, this is kind of where I'd start looking. I don't want to give this side of my life up, it would be denying a part of me, and a huge part of my life and social circle. So it makes sense to look here and in the friendships I've already developed.

I think if you want to live a swinger lifestyle where else are you supposed to look? It's not something that easy to broach with someone I've tried many times when I've been in a normal monogamous relationship and it's gone down alot of the time like a fart in a lift! I'm not looking for a relationship of any kind bit wouldn't judge people on here that are and do good luck to them...... If it's not what you are looking for then maybe you just skip to the next profile and message them instead. Simples x

That's interesting Red that you wouldn't be able to sacrifice this lifestyle for a relationship. Friends of mine often ask me if I could but for me nothing beats a loving monogamous relationship and have had some great meets on here but when I find the one, I'm outta of here, lol

To follow on from that although POF is the poor man's fab you find so many people on pof as well as fab which shows to me that although they are on a swinging site looking for casual fun there also on a dating site also looking for 'the one'

Maybe, because for me, it's more then just a succession of quick sex meets. Some of my closest friends are people I've met through socials, swinging websites and the like. My FaceBook is 90% swingers and 10% family. My swinging friends have been there for me more than my own family at times. A few years ago I met a vanilla guy, we were good together, but when I told him how I knew my 2 best friends, he couldn't get his head around it. He didn't want me going out with them, even though I explained there was nothing sexual between us now. He just didn't get it. I don't want to have to go through that every time.
