Agree pictures of the male groin area is not appealing. i think most people know what a cock looks like and other shots would be more appealing to couples and fems. A face pic would probably improve chances of meets.

However there are valid discretion reasons for most people on here, I notice you have no face pics on your profile and i dont on mine.

I do send face pics with every email and accept friends request, from interested people.

There are different expectations from single men with regards profiles and pics, that couples and women don't have to. It is hypocritical and unfair, but that is the way of this and similar sites, due to the high numbers of men. I am not moaning about it, it is just the way it is. happy swinging everyone

I have face pix up but as I'm self employed n openly bi I'm not fussed who sees it or knows! I have a selection of other more graphic pix on general view too

Ok I'm going to stick up for single men here and say that I never have any problems being sent face pics! It states on my profile what I'm looking for and that a face pic will help me decide if I want to meet them or not. I also ask them not to send a c*ck pic because at my age I already know what they look like.

SO....to be fair to 'most' of the single men who contact me, I get sent a face pic with their first message or certainly with the second or third message. If I don't find them attractive or they live to far, I'll politely say no thanks and won't send a face pic back and I don't usually have any problems with that. If I feel that someone is not quite genuine shall we say, and don't send a pic after a few messages, then I'll just stop answering them.

This system has worked for me in the time I've been here. I get the odd numpty who'll tell me it's my loss for not wanting to meet them but I've survived that loss quite well so far So it's a thumbs up for 'most' of the single men who've contacted me

When I joined fab I looked at other ladies profiles to see what was appropriate. I know most people do the same. A number of guys I have spoken to put up a cock shot as they thought that is what you had to do. You will see that most who have been here a while and actively meeting change their profile pic over time.

I disagree that they should show their face pic though for the same reasons I would not show mine.

Yes - a variety of pics would probably boost interest in their profile. But the way I see it is this.

Pic content, as with profile content, forum posts and message content gives you a good insight into the individual/couple behind the profile!

If a guy thinks images of his cock and constant references to size/alleged performance/ability is his USP - then good luck to him - but I doubt it will achieve the result he's looking for!

Just like many single female/couples pics where it seems that they think close up, graphic images are what every guy gets a raging boner for. You may attract interest - but whether its from the kind of people you'd wish to meet or not is a whole different question!!

It's all down to preference as to what content your profile has - and who will show interest in it. You'll never please everyone - but there are certain things you can do to minimise the number you put off within seconds!!
