North East / North West divide

I'm going to be staying near Warrington for a couple of weeks, from next Monday.

I've just been having a browse on here to see if there's anyone looking for a chat. After changing the search location I've come to the conclusion, the North East has to be the horniest and best place to be on here. Doesn't seem to be as many members over where I'm heading

Do you ever travel, or browse other areas, and do you find them to be better or worse?

How wrong you are!

There are LOADS of lovely people in Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Even as a Yorkie, I can appreciate the loveliness of those who live on the wrong side of the Pennines.

Come to Northern Chat, and you'll find that there's a great social scene, too!

Mate there is virtually no women in warrington or Liverpool or Manchester that are looking for single guys.

Unless ofcourse you have no standards and would have sex with anything with a pulse then and only then would you find a meet.

I've had 3 meets in 2 years ln here... just 3.

I'm not going to lower my standards. But yeah north west isn't really single guy friendly.

Have you seen the sheer amount of clubs we have here? That alone tells me we are a horny lot. I meet plenty of single guys.

Bitter, very bitter! There are loads of lovely people in the North West who will meet single men. Just because they don't meet you, doesn't mean they won't meet the OP!

I was going to say... you have manchester one side... liverpool the other, and wigan just above you....

if you want to alienate probably one of the best swinging triangles in the uk, you are going about doing a bloody good job...

I use to spend a ton of weekends in the north west, parties, socials and clubs a plenty

if this is one of those "prove me wrong" posts.... they tend to see past that BS rather quickly...

Not bitter at all. The guy asked a question and I gave my opinion on it.

There is not many young (below 35), athletic type woman in north west hence why I don't have many meets.

I'm not going to message people I'm not attracted to just to try get some sex lol

Whoa whoa whoa. Alienate? I was merely stating that there appears to be more activity around my local area, and put a question forward for thoughts and discussion. I'm sure there's plenty of people that travel, and was interested in hearing others thoughts, yours included of course. But alienating wasn't the issue

I have been to socials in wigan, bolton, manchester and liverpool and have had a brilliant time at them all

in fact there is socials being arranged in manchester all the time.... heck if the OP has looked in the UK section, there are various ones in there now!!!

I'm in no doubt that there's lots of friendly people about. Just seems thin on the ground compared to my own area. I've seen other posts from people nationally who seem to think the North is 'busier' for want of a better word hee hee.

I used to actually work in Manchester many many moon's ago, and well before I found fab.

Great suggestion for the room though, cheers for that I appreciate it

Perhaps it's because in the NW they're more organised and go to a neutral venue (club)

Cupids is open all day most days

Adam and Eve's is the original club still open I believe

Partners is huge

Townhouse and so on and so forth

I'm not from this part of the world btw so have no real bias in that way.

I'm there on business, so don't think I'll have the chance to get to a club to be honest. But I'd have been happy to chat to people to find out what happens in the area in all senses, including vanilla activities

That's good info. Yes I've seen the large amount of social and club activities that are arranged. Think your probably right on the money there, good info!

Good advice, but I'll only be around weekdays, could have definitely been fun though, and as you say, a great way to meet some friendly local folks

I'm from London but been in the North West for about 10 years now on and off and I must say there are plenty of people around here meeting, both couples and singles. I've traveled a fair bit for meets, but know for a fact that there is plenty of action in this area if you put the effort in to find it.

Up until 3 years ago I was staying Tues night through Fri morning in Warrington and did ok as a single guy, did clubs very occasionally (usually teamed up with a lady and went as a couple. Have never been the desperately seeking a shag type more the kinda guy who knows what type of woman he is interested in. So to the OP it aint all doom n gloom in the land of the wire

That particular poster (not the OP) only wants to meet athletic women under the age of 35. I'm not athletic or under 35 . But I still know half a dozen women who would meet his preferences
