insecurities

do any of u guys have same prob as me ...if i get a message from a potential meet and we get on i tend to read all his verifications, obv to see wot others say about him..but then i find myself comparing myself wiv the other ladies ..thinking , shes got longer legs (i hate being short) flatter stomach...bigger boobs etc... and beofre i know it im thinking i cant meet him cos ...ive actually turned down meets cos of this xx

I do the same thing.

I look thru someones friends list and verifications (cheeky mare cos I hide mine) to see if the other women they have met are similar in body shape to me.

I have to admit tho I have never turned someone down cos they have met someone thinner or taller than me - well if I did that I wouldnt meet anyone cos everyone is taller than me, even in my highest heels

Thing is tho hun guys will message you cos they like the look of you, so dont over analyse things enjoy this for what it is - enjoyment

Hun, the only person who is doing you down is you.

Take a 2nd look at your photos and try to see what we all see there.

We see a stunningly beautiful woman with great legs, huge dark eyes, tumbling raven hair, a cleavage you could lose a battalion in & a smile that makes our knees wobble!

Take it from someone who felt the same as you,

the way we see oursleves really is not the way that other people see us I cant stand to see myself in a mirror sometimes !!!!! but thats another thread lol

Just to add my two pence worth - I would repeat many of the comments above and you are very lovely.

Also, your profile is a nice and easy read which very much makes me think you are also a pretty pleasant person.

Only a small minority of peeps do not suffer insecurities of some sort so feel at home.

If you compare yourself to other's you'll never feel confident, hold your head high girl, never look down or back, try not to concentrate to much on verifications etc., etc., remember, you'll never see a bad verification.

The thing is it doesn't matter what others say it's how you feel. There nothing more off putting than someone down on themselves.

When my hair needs doing/eye brows waxing however I feel like Shrek. Once I'm feeling myself Beyonce, Tara Banks or Halle Berry can't compare to me (ok I have a talking mirror and I'm delusional)!

Men contact you because they like the look of YOU!

Relax and enjoy the attention. Some men just enjoy women regardless of age, race etc. Your the one putting the kibosh on meets.

No I don't compare myself with others they have met, I would guess that all the other guys are better looking and have better bodies than me so if I did see that was the case I would consider it a huge compliment that I was put in the same class as them and that the person wanted to meet me too

i cant say that i compare myself as we are all different and i know that i will be found sexy buy different people for different reasons - however, it does confuse me when i get messages from people wanting to meet me whos profile says they lonly ike slim women and they seem to have only met slim women?

no one could have been more insecure than i was 5 years ago ..just out of a 32 year marriage (my husband left me for a much younger woman ) who the hell was going to want me?? ..the first thing i decided to do was learn to like myself for all my faults my lumps and bumps etc etc and it took me a good year ...trust me once u have reached that place of self acceptance you can conquer the world !!...I have !!People tell me i have the most amazing aura now ..even my girl friends who know nothing about my FAB life !!

funny thing is i used to think he was a good looking guy !!! not any more.... ive met some amazing guys made some lovely friends ..i know now he did me one big favour ....
