Thinking of going to a club with a female mate. Will I get chucked out if I decide not to play with anyone? Is it ok to just go along for a social visit?

Totally your choice to play or not and with whoever you choose. when I have visited clubs there are often people who don't play. No one questions their reasons.

There is and never has been a requirement to "play" in a club, its a very odd myth that seems to have cropped up.

No always means no and if people wont accept that a word with the management will either get them talked too or thrown out.

the only ammendment to the above is "some" clubs out there enforce dress standards in parts of the clubs, ie if you move into the play areas in some you will be required to strip off or in a females case strip down to undies/sexy lingerie, there are also towel clubs where the requirement from the off is to be in a towel and nothing else.

However with the above clubs they tend to state on the websites (if you read them) what sort of club they are and the requirements so if you find this too intimidating for a first time you can avoid them.

Not at all. There is no pressure on anyone to play. I did the same for my first club visit, went with another female and neither of us played. Just enjoy yourself and let the staff know its your first visit and they will look after you.

There are no rules saying that you have to play when you visit a club. If you decide you want to, then feel free to, other than that, have a drink, a chat and a good look round.

Not a problem at all. A good club will make it very clear that the only rule is that no means no.

However, if you are considering couples night then a man who wanders off on his own leaving a non-playing partner in the social area may not be well received. If however he has put effort in and gets an invite that's different. But there are some men who try to get access to couples only events by taking a non-playing partner.

To cloud the issue further I haven't been playing recently but have been going to my local club sometimes with male friends on couples night. I have been going for the social side and have been made very welcome as has my friend. But both he and I know the fine line there is between escorting a friend to couples night and gaining entry to behave like the worst type of single man.

Hope this makes things clear as mud!

Take a good look at club websites before going, 'wet' clubs you normally have to be in just a towel or underwear, So well worth checking out dress codes before going.

If it is very cold, always worth asking others to help keep you warm

Never any pressure to play, might feel slightly more comfortable on a couples and single fem night, different atmosphere to when they let single men in, I'm not saying it's a bad atmosphere just always found it more relaxed on a couples evening

I think in the South East the only ones that require "kit off" would be Kestrals (daytime) VA (play areas )and Liberty elite (play areas).

Ourplace4fun, AB fabs, Jaydees, Tease2 and I believe Eurkeas do not have a clothing policy (apart from dressing well!)

Depends what you want from clubs. I only play with single men so my first visit on a couples night lasted for about twenty minutes. After I got the tour and the feel of the place I left with the intention to return on open nights.

Thank you all.

I'm not a club virgin, I've been to a few with my male friend but it was different because we were playing. Most of the clubs were full of single guys but they left me alone. (Probably because I was with him.)

My female friend will be playing but I probably won't be so that's why I wanted to check.

We go to Townhouse quite regularly and you can do as much or as little as you want. More often than not we go have a few drinks play a bit of pool and chat with like minded people then go home.

I have been to a few clubs and not played. Never felt any pressure to play and just used it as an opportunity to get to know like minded people. Honestly as stated above by lots of women it really is fine. Even in dress down clubs x

No pressure to play in any club...although I personally would avoid a greedy girl night if you don't want any expectations from the guys x

SteelHeels - the frame of mind to be in when it comes to clubs is to treat it like any vanilla venue - and 'anything else' that happens on top is a bonus, and that goes irrespective of how 'gorr-juss' (or otherwise!) anyone is!!

As others have said - there is never any pressure to play at anytime - so if you go with the approach I suggest, YOU won't feel pressured and anyone who chats to you won't (or shouldn't) feel rejected if you politely say 'No, thank you'..

Hmmm... Ruby and I had an instance which would contradict that..... at a party though, not a club...

Do they have a clipboard and give you a tick each time you shag someone?

When you go to a club you pay for membership to enter the building and use of the facilities. That is all.

How could anyone enforce a rule that you must have sex with someone whilst in there.

Sex of course does go on in there but many people just go for the experience, for watching, for the chance to wear underwear as outerwear.

We are members of chams and, if we get chance, go in the daytime to use the jacuzzi or sit on the sundeck if it's a nice day. The management have never thrown us out because we haven't offered our bodies to others.

I'm not really sure why people have this view about clubs.

Clacton on sea, Essex

We are the same too, we rarely play in clubs or parties as we use these places to meet people & plan for future meets at our home of theirs.
