how far would u travel?

How far would you travel for a meet? I once drove up to Newcastle and didnt set of till 10 at night (it was a 3 hour drive) just for a sponataneous meet (i must add it was well worth it though). Has anyone else traveled a long distance on the spur of the moment?

For a first meet, probably an hour or so. If it was someone I knew and had met previously, and they ticked the right boxes before (and we could be sure they'd turn up!) then maybe a couple of hours I suppose...

Though I break that rule for very special people... but not as an instant turn-up do it and go thing.

btw... you drive like a granny.... I get from Leicester to Durham in well under 3 hours

I drove from Edinburgh to Middlesboro once to meet someone I had only talked to a few days previously. It was DEFINITELY worth it though, what a night!! In fairness, I used to do a lot of driving for my job so travelling long distances didn't really put me off.

im lazy and drive like a granny so no more than an hr for me but wouldnt expect anyone else to travel any more than a mile to meet me either!! xx

lol Yeah i do, maybe it was more like 2 and half hours but it was in newcastle city centre and i did keep getting lost

As we enjoy spa weekends no distance is to far, if we arrange a meet south of the border we will bok a spa hotel, if meet turns up then fun fun fun, if not then spoiled rotten using the facilities in the hotel, win win and we never disappointed

Living in Inverness we are very pleased when someone travels to see us... we travel to glasgow every now and then but we stay over night to make sure that it is worth our time...;)

We have travelled from Bournemouth to Grimsby so thats a round trip of nearly 600 miles and well worth the journey too but any distance is ok for the right peeps

we once drove for 45 mins but that was for old friends and a social meet only, most we have travelled for fun (sex) meet has been 5 miles

our first meet we travelled from cambridge to canterbury and stayed over night

now we tend to travel about an hour

Oh. I wouldn't travel more than half an hour for someone I'd never met before ....

In half an hour I can be 30 miles from home.

If I did it would be in the morning or early afternoon so there was still time to put plan B into operation.

I take exception to the granny quote !!! I have 9 points and NONE of them for slow movement.

( actually it's six ....they let me off with 3 as long as I attended a speed awareness course )

canada ,, lol 3200 miles ,,, met her online b4 my swinging days ,,, ( do single guys swing ?? ) stayed a week ,,, have travelled thousands of miles ..furthest spur of the moment was redcar after a 12 hour shift ,,, was a mistake ,,, i was knackerd and she had a beaver well like a beaver ,,, i was driving over the tops in a snow storm and i said to my self " dave ,,, what the fuck are you doing" ? i was that tired that when i pulled in for petrol on the ai (m) at scotch corner i ran over the biggest fuckin traffic cone in the world and knackered the front spoiler on my baby ,,, despite alkl this ,, i was bang on time for the meet ,,, ,,, that was a whole new page ,,,, ,, so 116 miles for a spontaneous meet is the answer

At 9 miles per gallon I drive as little as possible

20 minutes by taxi from Jim Towers is a big catchment area.
