Why do grown up people play silly games on this site? I know its often difficult to say no on here, I often squirm myself when im typing it as often the receiver dosnt want to take no for an answer and either wont let it lie or hurls abuse or both!!

But this is a swingers site.. its about a lot of things but primarily sex.. why do people play silly games and make excuses up ... For instance someone being really keen to meet.. then when you say you always so social first.. suddenly something has come up and they cant meet or ignore you? is this how they like to be treated? I doubt it. Id get an earful if I adopted that approach.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Not everyone does social meets though. But if that's the case they should say.

We have been on and off fab for a couple of years now and used to get fed up of exactly this !!!

Not any more , expect nothing and anything else is a bonus lol

Marrieds playing as single can't guarantee getting out twice, so a social meet will be declined in preference to a playing meet

I can't see the problem with social meets if people hit it off then they will meet again

To some it's a meet to have sex and thats it.. they dont want the social side of things, or go through the effort of a social drink.

So just accept it, block them (to avoid any more wasted time with them) and move on, to others that suit your style more.

I always arrange for a social meet first time around.

For me there has to be an attraction for it to go anyfurther and a social meet with no pressures allows you to find this out. A polite no thanks is far nicer than being stood up after all.

We did a fab "vanilla" BBQ this weekend that was a great success, had a few newbies who came along and all had a good time - still had the usual round of people who either never responded to the invite or didn't turn up - but hey - that's their look out- we had a great giggle -

Not sure if the neighbours heard all if the conversations though - oops xx

Social meets are the only way I meet now, have been caught out in the past by being used as a quick 1 off, even after they know that is not how I like to "play". My thoughts now are if you are not going there again why go there in the first place. Stick to your rule of a social meet first and if the other person doesn't want to know it is their loss
