Very nice. Did you use auto white balance? Try preselect and set it to 5260K if using the flash as it gives richer skin tones for vibrant images.

But a nice set of results anyway.

Yeah used AWB ... Can't seem to find a way to alter WB on my A37 to anything like you suggest!

Good first effort! The flash could do with turning down a touch on some but as its new to you a good start that will get lots better we are sure as you get to know your camera more x

And there's plenty of fun to be had in taking and experimenting with ideas!

One day I may even read the instructions on my camera!

Some people like seeing provocative photos and maybe tantalising - which is nice . Others like us prefer more hardcore and find photos like these a bit boring . Whats up with that ???

For us, they portray an image of us, our personalities and where we fit into the swinging world. It's definitely at a different level to you guys but it's where we're comfortable.

I don't think they are boring, but I would think more about background...the radiator for example and then adjust your lighting, other than that they are a league above some of the poor quality pictures you can see on here!

Yeah thanks for the advice ... Lighting is a bit of a mystery at the moment but something we are planning to experiment with soon, as for background I was trying so hard on using the natural light through the curtains I didn't notice the radiator!!!!

Hi Keenfucktographer,

I just had a look at your pictures as this thread is about pictures. I noticed you have blocked out peoples distinguishing features with a simple black rectangle. That looks far better than scribbling all over images with a computer 'marker pen' which seems to ruin the effect of some pictures on here.

Just a thought I had.

many image editors can do it, photoshop being the obvious.Googles picasa(which is free does it well enough)

Natural light is the best never photograph in full sunlight as the contrast, shadows and frowns this produces can be hard. Try late evening when the light is lower, say 7pm onward

I think the pictures are great, very tasteful and leave something to the imagination.

The second one has already been mentioned, its an excellent picture, I can see that being framed somewhere - I dare you, in your hallway? You wouldnt have to admit it was you if you didnt want to.

Keep experimenting, the results are great, although some good advice about the backgrounds. You will be surprised how many people pick up on whats in the background, rather than the main subject.
