Can you tell me how do you know without knowing them well if clean if into bareback and cum play. ?And yes each to there own and I know we cover this on here alot ... Is that what turn people on ? Is it for some the risks they take make it more lustful the sex and get off more from it. ? Older I get the more I worry about all this ..

You can't tell even if you think you know them. Many of us would probably love to go bareback because it feels better and you avoid the taste of rubber, get to play with cum etc. Unfortunately this is the real world not just a fantasy one. Play safe or be prepared to catch something you really wish you hadn't.

There isnt a way if telling if they are unless you hold their hand when going to the GUM clinic

But if I was to guess anyone who would be up for bare back after only a few meets / months, probably isnt clean.

God if you can tell that by just looking can you tell me the lotto numbers for tonight then. It's absurd to think you can tell just by looking at someone if they have an infection. If you could why would a gum clinic have to do tests

The real worry is that a person may not even know they have an unwelcome passenger. Stuff can be passed on without the "carrier" knowing they had something.

We need to be careful, I doubt many get checked out after playtime. When you see some folks verifications & the short times between, it's impossible for them to have been checked as the gum clinic ain't even been open..!!

years ago i met a doctor who was married, on another site, i thought afterwards it was a bit risky as he didnt use a condom.

it made me think that maybe he liked taking risks.

some men also think it ok to rub themselves up against you before they have put the condom on.

some people you meet who are married, may not have had many other partners so could be less likely to have cought anything. you dont know realy though.

You can't tell. It is about what risks you're prepared to take.

I don't judge. I believe as adults, we are in charge of what you choose to do and if there are any consequences then that's down to you.

I do laugh when people get on their high horse about this subject when the lifestyle is what many sexual health experts would see as "high risk."

Many, many years ago I worked in STD clinic and in walked a man, in a dickie bow and ts, very well spoken and carrying a nice new dose of gonorrhoea. So much for telling by people's appearances. With drug resistant gonorrhoea on the rise, do you really want to risk it?

High risk is reduced to medium risk by use if condoms. If swinging but using condoms is classified as high risk what us swinging bareback then?

Always better to be safe than sorry, but we all sometimes do things we shouldnt, maybe if you have had one too many, i think people get annoyed about it because they are realy scared they might catch hiv, which there is no cure for.

And it's all about managing risk...and reducing them as far as possible, the single biggest factor in that is still using a condom when having penetrative sex...

It's more to do with the multiple partners aspect than the act itself. Also, people forget that other STDs can be transmitted orally too, like herpes which is incurable. Plus, there doesn't have to be a visible sore for infection to take place.

Considering most don't use dental dams, this is a factor.

Safe sex is one partner, exclusive relationship with no one else involved at all or no sex at all. But that's just my opinion.

We use a scratch and sniff test. What you do is scratch the genital in question. If it smells instantly they're a bad egg and you have to rubber up. If the smell is petals then go for it.

I saw a profile the other day, married man playing away. Every picture had him depositing cream pies, anal, with various women. He didn't have a condom on in any of his pictures.

All I could think was you selfish, selfish bastard! Fuck around then back to his wife!

Why would you do that?!!

You can walk out a clinic supposedly free from infections, but still carry the serious one which could take upto 5 weeks from an infected partner. So to be clear, get tested. Go without meets for a further 5 weeks and test again.

Visual sex is pretty much safe.

You can read about it, watch it live or on TV.

The only downside of course is after years of wanking you will eventually go blind at which time you have to resort to aural sex.

you think a married man would want to be more careful, also being a doctor, just goes to show, they arent always much different to anyone else it seems.

People also lie to get what they want. I was naive once, now I find trusting people more difficult. Even if they say they get tested and always play safe there is no way of knowing the truth.

I went back to uni 10 yrs ago n a lot think everything is treatable or curable! I've seen ppl with end stage aids and hepatitis, in previous incarnation as nurse. It's awful. But regarding risk...it just takes once, same as getting pregnant!!

you can not tell if anyone has an std by looking at them, even an std test is only a statement of things at a set time , like a car mot!

it is a game of chance, most people with clamydia do not know they have it,the majority of people with HIV do not know they have it and as for HEP C very few know they have it

also what is worrying is the incidence of drug resistant gonoreah ( excuse spelling , had a rum or two )

Having said that it is a fair bet that the vast majority of the population is std free.

Any sexually active, responsible adult ought to be screened peroidically.

sorry if that is all a bit kill joy
