Clubs are good no means no, so until you feel comfortable with joining in you can just watch. Dark rooms are good to start as you can just go soft with a groaps etc. have fun be bold x

Relax...talk to people, watch , take your time, know what and who you want (if any) and be sure to tell the club staff its your first time. Enjoy the experience and come back here to tell us.

Just to explain Ruby's late night post (I shall have words with her later.... !), actors are taught to overcome nervousness and stage fright by telling themselves they are excited instead. The feeling comes from the same part of the brain and actually is the same emotion/feeling - it's your subconscious putting it in a different scenario.

So keep telling yourself you're excited.... not nervous....

I've never been in any swing club that I've felt uncomfortable or intimidated. I would happily go in any alone.

Bad idea. Ya will end up being a bit d*unk n it will show. Clubs you can bring ya own booze. So take a bottle n have ya first drink there and relax in the social area. You will see many who are similar to you.

One tip a fem shouldn't go alone on first time but apart from that it should be fun. At very least you may meet people you can play with later. You have no pressure or not expected to play unless totally comfortable.

I'm not gonna get d*unk, god no. And me and my husband are going together. If I took alcohol with me, I'd get d*unk. Having one or two before in go and it'll just stop the nerves a bit

There's no reason a female shouldn't go to clubs on her own even if it is her first time.

A well run club (as most are) is a far less threatening environment than many pubs on an average Friday night!

Just have a good think about your limits, let the club know you're a first timer and get a tour and possibly introductions to a few people and don't be shy to talk to people. And if someone invites you and it's a no thanks then a simple, courteous no thanks will suffice.

I went to my 1st one Sat. it was the 1st time on the scene too. I was very nervous but after 10 mins I was far more relaxed. didn't do anything 1st time but I think next time I may go a bit further with willing partners. Avril had a ball. having a little wine helped a lot

I still get nervous on entering a club, when i first went i had to much to drink and now i only have a couple of glasses to relax and then water.

I have been To 1 twice and four others, and i get better and better at controling the nerves every time.... Next week Ted is taking me back to Euerka's because i just love the naked swimming Ruby

You will have a great time at Cupids on wednesday. We have done wednesday nights and it has been great fun. Wear something sexy like a basque or babydoll... They have a nice sauna and a hot tub if you world like to use. Plenty of play rooms and nice bar area. And its spotlessly clean. Enjoy !!!!
