What's the problem with some people ?

I have noticed that's more and more of the females profiles I look at seem to rant and rave on about the fact they get p'ed off with men contacting the. It's starts usually with something like " right firstly I'm not .... Or I won't ..... This is after all a swingers site and many seem to bleat on like its a stalker. Also the "I'm not meeting" is a bit strange..... Why be on here then ? That's what Facebook is for

I think people get fed up with being harrassed and if people want to be on here without meeting its up to them.

I find the profiles that have a long list of rules and ranty bits very off putting though and as soon as I see them click off

I agree, why don't these moaners block all single men then just contact the people they want?? I wonder if its because they would get very few replies and would have to go to the trouble of writing messages, just a theory

The profile or status ranting simply helps me decide the kind've person behind the profile. Too much of it slating everyone & anyone spells out much.

Yeah we all get pissed off with the antics on these sites. But some seem to have an interest in ranting & shouting off before focusing on the real people they could have real fun with.

Everyone is different so it's up to them, it's their profile.

Are list of do's and don't not trying save people's time

I'm not meeting at the mo, but still enjoy using the site, don't like using facebiook.

I'm not meeting. I was. And I will be again at some point. I don't want to delete my profile as ill lose my veri's etc. I choose not to hide my profile as I use the forums a lot and get messages from that re threads etc so don't set my filters either.

I see a lot of profiles that don't appeal to me for one reason or another. Don't see the point moaning about them tbh. Just ignore them and find one I do like.

Site faq's state it's not rude not to reply. Unfortunately some dont take a no thanks on the chin and have to reply back again with why not? Or be abusive. So some people just don't reply any more. As for the blocking its nothing personal just a tool to ensure that people you aren't interested in dont contact you again. Actually does you a favour to as they then won't show in a search so saves you having to scroll through people you've messaged before!

There are a few profiles I look at and think they come off as being on the defensive or just plainly having a whinge, but I don't find it's restricted to single females to be honest. I just click off them though and look for profiles I'm more compatible with. I'm sure plenty people don't like my profile either but it works for me in order to meet people that I 'like'.

As for the 'not meeting'...I've taken several breaks from playing but I've got friends I keep in touch with through the site and I don't want to have to keep deleting and rejoining the site everytime I fancy a bit of time out. Surely it's better to say you're not currently meeting than lead people on?

the grumpy-sounding ones are quite often blokes pretending to be women, so will cut to the chase and simply ask you to send them your pics, after which you will find yourself blocked, because they have what they want

I have tried to inject some humour into though, and living in the oil capital of the world, I get quite a lot of staying in such and such hotel.....

So, as a single female I do feel my profile is the right place to try and persuade the people I am not interested in meeting to not contact me.

And after all, it is my profile and I can put what I like on it

My profile is quite long, I have a few photos and a few veris but I don't want to delete the profile cos I like chatting on here even though I'm not meeting at the moment due to work pressures. I've got 1 evening free until a day in August and then it will be about October at this rate. So not meeting hardly at all.

Previously, my profile had a list of the types of people I didn't want to meet. This was in the hope that people would actually READ my profile, and rule themselves out, if they weren't what I was looking for

Sadly, this didn't work, so I now use the 'delete all messages' button, and I seek out the people who I AM looking for.

Why does it bother the op what others do with their own profiles? Leave them you don't like and move on to one you do like, it's all very easy really.

I have a very simple list of "Criteria" that people should make sure they meet before messaging me, the reason is so that people do NOT waste their time messaging me or waste my time telling them why!!!!

There are, of course, exceptions and I sometimes do respond where an effort has bee made to post a interesting message, similarly I will NOT respond if the message is just "Meet?", for instance, even if they tick all the boxes.

Our profile is short and to the point. It states quite clearly how we choose to play. But we like being on fab for the forum banter - and the occasional chat in the rooms. We like being able to converse with sexually liberated people - which we can't do on Facebook!

It still baffles me how people feel the need to dictate who should be on here and why.

I totally agree that 80% of single women on here are actually men (maybe not 80 but a lot) but the simple answer is this site should charge a lot more for membership thus ridding it of the morons and menaces who ruin it. Morons and menaces don't have money then ?

Why should the majority of people who use fab happily have to pay extra because a minority of people cannot work out good from bad themselves. If people think paying lots of money to be on a swinging site is going to help there are loads out there that will happily take there money.

nope that does not work on other MUCH higher paying sites...been using the internet quite a long time, if u understand how they work u'd know a fake profile can actually make some webcam company money.The vast majority most obviously of men, all over the world join paying webcam rooms, on a pay per view structure also

only way to out fakes is to use common sense and the features already freely available on the site

I've been told I'm too demanding on my profile and I won't have any luck on here. The fact that someone goes out of there way to message me just to tell me that says a lot more about what they are getting from the site than what I am. This aint dial-a-fuck, people have preferences, get over it!

moronic and menacing. For some reason, some men are totally and utterly hopeless at sending messages. I know this because a female friend an I put a meet request up for an mmf and the dross we had to deal with. Unbelievable!!! Within minutes we were bombarded with duff one liners fron duff men. Needless to say I didn't get a mention which was ironic as I had a 50% say in who we met.

it's their profile and if it comes across in such a manner then IMO i wouldn't bother with them as they aren't looking for someone in my position. As for not meeting at the moment i am guilty of that but can't see why it would be an issue. If someone wishes to take a break but leave their profile on here whats wrong with that

sometimes the messages i get arent to my liking, but i think myself lucky i get any realy, as a lot of men complain they dont get any.

same as friends invites, i just delete most of them as i have so many and it takes too long to go through the friends list and updates.

i try not to take what people say too seriously.

I don't really mind what people put on their profile, if they interest me I'll message them, they might reply, they might not. People mail me, often they get a positive or negative response, sometimes just ignored or if especially bad blocked. The odd one makes me laugh, I'm currently organising a GB for a lady, (apologies to the mods if mentioning this is against the rules, please delete if against the rules). I wanted to invite one guy who'd previously attended a GB I organised for her. When I tried to mail him I found he'd blocked single men from mailing him. We haven't decided whether she should mail him to tell him to mail me so I can reply or whether she should mail him after the next event to tell him what a good time he'd missed

I understand that this thread may just be a convenient way for some of you to vent your spleen, but is it going to make any difference at all? There are bad apples in both genders and every flavour of sexuality on this site, the way I see it is that most of us are here for a specific reason, just get on with whatever it is that you want to do and don't let the rubbish bog you down, if you're a genuine person then hopefully the person/s you want to meet with will get a sense of that.

I totally agree that 80% of single women on here are actually men (maybe not 80 but a lot) but the simple answer is this site should charge a lot more for membership thus ridding it of the morons and menaces who ruin it. I have never mentioned single women , just from are time on the site ,after 3 days we had to block single guys , and yes tonight we blocked a single guy who was doing im a couple role . never kid a kidder lol Im sure there are a few

Every time I advertise a GB I get at least one 'We're a couple but she can't make it" reply, even when I've advertised for just men???
