Chatting to a new couple of fuck buddies... They ask that, if a meet is arranged, a financial gift be made to the lady as she likes to be treated... She will spend the money on clothes and perfume...

Is this acceptable or would others see it as 'prostitution' of a sort?

Hmmmm sounds a bit like they may be making money from single men.

Perhaps every guy they meet has to 'gift' some money.

It's not normal but it does happen. It's your choice, but I suspect that money will be wanted every time you meet.

I dont think i will report them... i dont want any hassle... but it made me wonder where the line is drawn... If a couple stipulate that they only meet in hotel rooms and the visitor/s have to pay for the room or a contribution to it... Is that the same thing?

Just interested in people's viewpoint

I know of a couple who pray on guys who are struggling for verifications, new or recent. The guys contribute towards babysitting costs. Normally about £40, stay about an hour, then have to leave as the babysitter has rung and needs to drop the kids off. The guy leaves, the next guy is invited in.

I don't believe they are on the site now as the guy who told me about it has reported them. But if someone is asking for money, alarm bells should ring. Was it easy to arrange a meet?

if I have a meet in a hotel and plan on kicking the guy out after I will pay for the room, if he is staying I would like a contribution or maybe he buys dinner, hasnt been an issue in the past

Absolutely. No one should entertain these women. It's not a dating site but a swinging site. I pay my own way.

Joking apart, that's not the point in swinging.

Arranging to meet in a hotel and split the cost is one thing, or you yourself opting to offer the lady a small gift, but not them demanding it.
