Rock night at a club?

It seems to us that everytime there is a thread on here asking about favourite bands, songs, music to have sex to etc that a high majority of posts relate to the Rock genre ... Why is it then that every club we've been to seems to stick to dance music??

The question is, if we were to put on a Rock Night at a club would there be enough interest to make it viable?

Rock music......well ... Rocks

2 clubs in Glasgow are rock clubs pretty much, the cathouse and the garage, haven't been to them for a few years but in pretty sure there still rock venues. They were always packed out when i went so you could be onto a winner with your idea
