jealousy and bad mouthing

I know I am no great shakes but at the moment I am being put off going to my favourite club because someone is putting the knife in about me. Saying certain things about me that just are not true people who know me know I am sound but newbies listen and are sceptical, it is restricting fun times for me therefore making me feel like not going. What would others do in my situation please thanks

Is stick with the people who know me and forget people who are ready to judge my personality from what other people say about me. Natural justice will eventually prevail and do you really want to be friends with people who listen to gossip and actually believe it?

Hold your head uo high,go to your club and carry on enjoying yourself,inteligent people ignore gossip mongers,those that suck up gossip and believe all thats told to them are'nt really worth worrying about

Ignor them, walk in and hold your head up high, the one's that know you, know that the rumours are not true.

Your one of the genuine ones.

Do not stop just because of a couple of people who are jealous of what you have.

This. If people want to listen and believe in rumours without getting to know you and forming their own opinions, let them. They're not worth knowing anyway.

There are many rumours about me in the vanilla world atm thanks to a spiteful ex of Vince's but the people who know me (and who I know and love) know they're not true and that's all that matters.

If I'd believed all the rumours I heard about Vince, we never would've got together.

Over the years had some of this myself ... people saying stuff that's not true just to make me look bad so there friends so thay would not like me .. well at the time I did think what the hell is it all about as I knew nothing ... so I smiled and was thinking .. That's the thing thay must get off on doing to others and others must know what thay are like .... x So don't worry be true to yourself and don't go down to there level , People who really know you will know the truth , And others who side with them not worth knowing .

generally i think people doing the bad mouthing can come off far worse... they look like the ones with a chip who are holding a grudge.

Gossip, rumours and bad mouthing happen in life - be it day to day, on site or in clubs - it's inevitable!

The only thing you can ever do is rise above it, ignore it - and carry on without a care in the world!

There's no point in trying to do anything else - and if you let it get to you two things happen. Those responsible in some way 'win' - and people will perhaps start to believe it.

Carry on as always and just rise above it!

Thanks for so much advice I was just going to walk away and let it be, but as people quite rightly say the truth will come out, fun times maybe a little less for a while but eventually it will pass.
