Shaving rash

How do I avoid getting shaving rash on my nether regions? I've tried new razors, shaving gel, foam and just soap, hair removal cream was brutal on the balls, I'm running out of ideas.

For the record I play lots of sport rugby, cricket, cycling, running, etc which leadsto betty swollocks. Is it jjust this that makes it happen and there's nothing I can do?

Thanks in advance

Most people make the mistake of rinsing the razor in hot water. I found out a couple of years ago to rinse the razor in cold water.

Works for us!

Some people are def prone to shaving rashes no matter what they try. You might want to consider waxing as the hair follicle will die off eventually and the hair will grow back finer . Shaving just encourages thicker and faster hair growth.

or try Aloe Vera after you shave. Cooling and soothing!

I've always found dry shaving is best for me never any rash nicks. Trim it short first with scissors then a nice fresh blade. Leaves our balls feeling like velvet

If you use the search facility on the forum there is a long post regarding this and its full of great advice.

Hope this helps.

Essex Land

Try tea tree oil... From body shop or the like... Use something already suspended in a carrier oil rather than neat..

Or buy neat off amazon and then add it to your own carrier oil...

Do not put undiluted on the skin.. Not that it's dangerous but that's what we were told not to do.

Works for us.

Tip: A good splash of aftershave straight after

Result: Makes a rugby player cry like a little girl

In all seriousness, Sudocreme or Coconut oil

Pointless using a razor there. Buy a Philips Bodygroom. No rash. No hassle. Thanks

I have been shaving around my cock for a few years and don't have a problem at all with that area now. Yesterday I decided the 'style' looked silly and extended the area to new, previously un-mown, hair and I am suffering today. I shall keep at it as it will probably settle down like the other bit did.
