After being on fab for over a year and meeting some great people and having lots of fun at parties ,clubs ,gb,s and 121 can you go back into the vanilla dating game or will you always crave the desires of fab ? Your thoughts please Lee

I couldn't go vanilla in a million years... It was why everything failed for me in previous relationships.

I can be faithful.. but to me their is a huge difference..

to be honest I can't ever see anyone wanting to date me in vanilla sense.

In to wild... To much me.. and to jaded from my past.

After joining fab for a couple of months last year (used other sites for years), I unexpectedly got into a relationship that came out of the blue, all very vanilla.

It didn't bother me in the slightest to revert back to a vanilla lifestyle. For me it was just a case of what was right at the time

Yes. In fact, I'm here (in Fsb) less and less these days because it doesn't have what I'm looking for these days and I'm finding that the 'Muggle' world does...

Yes, I think so.

I may discuss swinging and the likes with any future girlfriend as it's been a part of my life for a long time, if she has no interest then vanilla it is.

I've said before and I'll say again, sex to me is everything and yet nothing.

Yep I think it all boils down to vanilla ice cream before a wider choice became available, hence vanilla being the regular and norm

I to be honest have had it mob or twice where no matter how much I have sex with others only one person satisfies me..

however I like adventures and would need someone similar to me...Although I will confess to craving romance from time to time..

Right now i'm having far too much fun to go back to my life before fab. As for the future? Who knows what it may hold.

If i'm really lucky hubby will regain his sex drive and join me on this great adventure. At the other end of the spectrum he may decide that he is no longer happy for me to play.

Whatever happens I will embrace it and make the best of everything that life offers to me

Yes we could easily do it!

Like someone else said a few posts up, we are using the site less and less!

Only really popping in and out the forums now and then.

Our vanilla lives are very busy too so finding time to meet is difficult!

But we could leave all this behind at the drop of a hat

but it was the norm for me when married too. I have only swung as a single since last year..and before I swung having multiple partners was still my norm.

I had a vanilla date on Friday. It was with someone I met via an expats forum: we're both considering retiring to the Dordogne.

Drink, dinner just chatting away, no sex talk it was lovely. He arrived with flowers and chocolates which took me aback as men usually bring me lube and condoms.

If I meet "the (next) one" we'd have to have a serious talk about my toy box!

Thoughtful question. It is difficult for me to enjoy vanilla only after eating so much chocolate for years. Vanilla has safety and emotional meaning, but chocolate has a freedom and self-awareness that is addictive. It is not easy to mix the two, or even to admit to vanilla peeps that you even know what chocolate is. Some things are better kept either to yourself.

I am here as a single person! And yes can easily go back to vanilla. I came out of a relationship earlier this year. A guy I met on here, although he was still active on here, I wasn't, he was enough for me and found I wasn't interested in sex with anyone else.

I think attend moment I'm kind of raspberry ripple. For the majority of time I plausibly with letsbe, we enjoy each other's company and if either one of us wanted to stop going to clubs etc and stop meeting other couples we would but we do enjoy the odd club night out and have a bit of fun with women and couples.

We also like our own brand of kink to which is where the raspberry ripple comes in

sometimes the excitement goes, I find it very hard to find new things to try to stop this becoming the norm, i'm always on the look out for something new, im running out of ideas lol

This is just like me iv been in and out of vanilla relationships for years. Im always drawn back into chocolate. I must be addicted too. The vanilla people iv talked to in the past struggle with the whole lifestyle concept. Why should it be so hard to understand. I dont know if i could truly go back to permanent vanilla it would need to be a special "one" to make me decide on it.
