Carrying on from a post in the single fems on Fab thread... I noticed that some people actually think they might find love and caring here. I personally think this is delusional but I have already had guys acting all lovey and needy which causes intsta-block for them. Do people find more than sex on Fab?

There had been some success stories of peeps finding their other halves via FAB and swinging.

However, the numbers are very low.

Far more common and worse is peeps conducting their courtship and eventual breakup online for all to see.

I responded to the other thread and said I wouldn't say no to dating but I certainly don't expect to find that on Fab! That will only happen in the real world as far as I'm concerned. And before anyone has a go at me for saying this isn't real, I call this my secret fantasy world and treat it very different to my life outside Fab.

I do not have any issues with people openly stating they are looking for love and romance on a site like FAB, and I'd say good luck to them.

Like I said - Im more worried for the sanity and delusions of the people who state they don't want it - but that is what they indeed crave

Being a married lady i was no way looking for love on here, was not ever on my agenda, it was all about occasional sex to fill a need that wasnt dealt with in a boring marriage, then randomly met godfrey at a club after a few brief chats and wham, smack in the face met the person who does the vomit inducing cliche thing of making me feel complete fir the first time in my life! Now im in a right awkward position of knowing what i want but hurting people i care about to get it and its horrible!

Time will tell i guess, i hope

My biological clock comment applies to females only as I have yet to come across a gent who wants to father and keep the child for himself.

I am single and enjoy every aspect of swinging and fab but I'm not deluded in thinking that love will be found here, that's not what I am looking for, but if something more came out of a meet with a guy on here then I wouldn't dismiss it just because we met on a swinging site.

On a serious note though, I agree, there are people on here who do get very clingy and envious if you talk to others etc. But if that's the case then swinging isn't for them. You can't get angry and jealous with partner swapping etc or it will never work. If you're already in a stable relationship where you both want it that's fine. But singles will always find it harder. Especially if you're the type who says "just out of a long relationship" because heart and head is usually all over the place anyway.

I have been in love once and it was an amazing experience..Yes it ended in heartbreak but it happens....I don't intentionally say to men on here I want a relationship. I agree with you..you cant go looking for love ! it just does not happen that way...you can meet and fall in love with someone anywhere...i gave up on finding love many years ago..never look for it..but then wow..started to chatting on here to a special woman , we got on great, we met and had this amazing connection like we had known each other for years..we are best friends,the sex was amazing...but its not all about sex..we get on at a different level..so id say fab is no different to anywhere else..love can hit you at anytime or any place.im in LOVE !!!!!! .xx

We all know what it is!

Some have found love but most will not last..

I would fuck a women who is on here but never get into a relationship with one. Makes me wonder how many of us women would.. Not saying I am of course x

I've had 2 long term relationships off swinging sites, one for 5 years, one for four. Whilst I don't use FAB as a dating site and I'm not looking gig love here, I don't turn my nose up at the thought of it. As a other poster said you can find love anywhere, wether its a swinging site or a bus stop.

As for the "where dud you meet" or "what attracted you 1st" questions, I'd happily say I met them on the Internet and it was their pics & feed back that attracted, how I'd that remotely an issue. If you look at how dating has changed in the past decade, meeting online is becoming more common them meeting in a club!

I know quite a few people on here who have met and started a relationship thro swinging, some last but more than often they don't, but then I know couples who have got married and started swinging together who have not lasted, as in any relationship, some will stand the text of time some wont

There are some individuals who just click and it works for them.

I know a few people.who met on fab and now they are a couple and in a relationship. But, there are others whom i know where it didnt quite work out.

The heart is a delicate piece of flesh...i for one, dont like relationships..
