"Yes we struggle too to get meets. We quite like spontaneous meets and our main dynamic is single guys. We put a meet ad up but like your experience very few read our profile and preferences. So out of 30 replies only one or two are worth responding to. We find trying to organise too far ahead almost guarantees a drop out or no show. " Yes, this is the exact problem we have. | |||

" Very frustrating, I have tried several times to arrange a meet for a lady I see, she wants2-3 men , and it’s hard knowing who’s genuine, I suspect a lot aren’t, or bottle at the last minute . I guess I get ignored because of my age or I haven’t got recommendations. Whatever, you’d think it would be a lot easier in this day and age " its never going to be easy for most men 100/200 men per woman/couple depending where you live ... alot of guys call women /couples fake just because they are not being picked ..not interested does not p fake ..swinging is not women drop knickers for all there has to be something to attract physical sexual mental and quite simple most people are and rightly so picky | |||

Absolutely NOT wanting to start at argument but calling single guys "males" makes them appear nothing but livestock for your use. Guys that call women "females" get called out on it, too.

In our experience every single one of those that say they have a lady friend is talking bollox and she's unwell or looking after kids or something when the time comes. Maybe consider you and her setting up a joint couples profile for those meets? | |||

For us, it doesn't help that Char is very, very fussy so out of 100 guys that message, there's probably only two or three that she actually fancies. Of those that she fancies, a large proportion have no meet verifications so haven't proven themselves to actually leave the house. Of those, almost 0% have actually turned up when given the chance. Of those with meet verifications, it seems that more than half aren't as single as they say they are and of course, we're the ones that get left standing when they can't get away from the wife, when she needs the car, when the kids suddenly decide to come and stay, etc. It actually leaves very, very few guys for us. And let's not even start on single woman (they're not interested in us) or couples (who generally if interested in us, don't think they need to read a profile at all). It can get you down, just remember it's almost certainly not you and unless you open up to alternative types, further distance, etc, that's the way it'll be. | |||

These requirements are: Live within 10 miles of us Be able to accommodate No beards No car/lorry meets The replies that we get make it clear that guys either think that the requirements don't matter, or they haven't bothered reading past the first line of the advert. If we are lucky, we might get one meet every three months. Does anybody else have a similar problem?
