They are different, knowing what you are looking for and which time of the year will help with your decision.

We have been to Cap and PDI in excess of 10 times each, we are cumulatively coming up to having spent a year of our lives at both. If you were only able to go to one it would be Cap every time but the season is short June to Sept. The rest of the year PDI would be our choice.

At Cap you have the chance to be naked all the time, great daytime parties, Pig beach and clubs for the nighttime plus a couple of thousand open minded people to be with. Everything is compact and close so all walkable, although it can be expensive it is possible to stay on a budget. Ten years ago we were backpacking closed a bank account and with just under £4K we managed to make it last for 3.5 weeks, didn’t stop up is having fun. We plan to have a whole summer on Rene Oltra when we retire.

PDI is a vanilla family resort with a gay and swinging scene added on. A smaller number of swingers there at anytime. Based upon Fab members and other international dating sites that numbers depending on the time of year there are somewhere between 400 to 800 people at anytime one time. There are are 3 swinger lifestyle resorts Venus, Mirage and SWP, we have stayed at Venus and have booked for Oct, Jan and March. If you like cycling it’s a fantastic island to ride, we managed a 10 week training holiday a few years ago staying near the airport. Great bus service so we bused into and back from PDI for the clubs and bars.

Which ever you choose you will have a great time.

Playa del Ingles

Cap D'Agde (15 years experience) vs PDI (lived here 5 years). Cap is more of an in your face party. PDI is less obvious. Fun to be had in both.

This is a very accurate description. All we would add is go to both of you can!
