Holkham Nudist Beach, North Norfolk.

Hello everyone,

I live near Holkham and I visit the nudist beach a handful of times per year (when it’s warm enough).

I thought I’d start a thread for people who have visited, want to visit or who are thinking of visiting or so people can share stories/opinions.

We're less than an hour from it, but have heard that it's a trek from the nearest place to park, and Char's now walking with a stick and can't do long distances. How far is it?

yes, it is quite a trek, but you can go through the path in the woods rather than down the beach. I went a few years ago, with my partner, and only discovered the woodland path on the way back - maybe I would have made it to the nudist beach if we knew about it beforehand, as I think there were some benches there to sit on and rest for a bit. Not sure about the current set up, unfortunately.

Yes several benches still in place up to boardwalk, can sit on fallen trees in woods nearer to the nudist section.

We used to go there a lot. We would park the car in Lady Anne's Drive, get the cycles off the car and cycle. Head towards the beach and at the end of the drive turn left. Cycle along this path for about 3/4 mile and where you reach another path go right, through the woods into the dune area. Leave the cycles there and wander over the dunes to the naturist beach. It used to be good to be naturist in the dune area but this was stopped several years ago. However, the beach is still naturist, it's huge and a lovely naked walk to the shore line. Enjoy.

Hove, mainly…

I was there 10 days ago. It’s a long way from the car park £14 for the day, and no lifeguard or facilities. Huge sandy beach, bit windy, so relaxing being naked and sunbathing. It’s worth a visitz

either way is long, I actually never made it to the naturist beach, broke down in tears roughly half way through. That was a few years ago though, now I know there is a path through the woodlands, with some benches on the way, and I am much more mobile, so probably could make it all the way.
