Beetroot supplement

C, male posting. I was recently told that beetroot supplements could help my high blood pressure (I'm already on Ramipril and would rather not take anything stronger). I'm very fit and a running coach, but I do drink quite a bit, but have cut down a bit recently.

Anyway, I also read that it aids erections. Well, can I just say, after 8 weeks, not only has my BP dropped loads, my dick gets hard like I'm still at uni. Highly recommended!

Anyone else thinks it's the supplements or just drop in booze consumption?

Beetroot is known for helping to make the blood vessel walls a little more elastic and there fore able to carry more blood. I eat beetroot daily because I like it and it is super healthy.

Drop in booze consumption will have helped a bit I guess.

I might get the supplements.

Its the supplements, improves blood flow = harder dick and healthier heart x I had to stop taking them as mine went too low. Im already taking rmipiril, amlodipine and propanalol. If you are only taking remipiril you are doing quite well.

Not advised if you have had kidney stones. Read that when looking into it myself and as I've recently had them I had to steer clear

Cherry supplements are good for that, my husband had kidney stones and gout, sorted him right out x

"Beetroot turned my pee pink. "

Yeah it does have an affect, that's why I want to try the supplements rather than just eating beetroot.

Please give people a warning about eating/taking beetroot so they don't do the same thing I did and get petrified that they are bleeding from the back passage 😂😂😂

The ones I've been taking are from a company called New Leaf. I'll be honest, most of the reviews were the same, these were massively good value.

I started a couple of weeks ago on the juice as my BP is slightly over ideal and don’t want to get to the stage where I need meds. Had no idea it was supposed to aid errections. I don’t have any issues there but good to know! I can’t say it has changed BP so far. Trouble is it tastes foul! Have you found beetroot supplements work?

I've just bought some beetroot capsules 2 a day for 30 days. Is anybody who uses these know how long before you notice any improvement?
